Riverlands Wedding Barns

Seriously don’t know where to begin with this venue. After only having 12 months to find a new wedding date/place since our previous wedding venue went into liquidation, we very nearly gave up on the Wedding idea and eloped instead. That was until our amazing photographers recommended Riverlands. And wow; it did not disappoint. From the second we walked in we just knew we had to get married here. As cliquè as it sounds, it was definitely ‘the one’. And that feeling only increased once we met the lovely owners, Kate and Ed. Who cannot do enough for you! From beginning to end they were absolutely wonderful. As were all the staff at Riverlands, and everyone who managed to make the day flow as well as it did. Huge shout out to Kyler, who is the wedding coordinator of dreams. It is impossible to be stressed around her, she puts all of your worries at ease. Solves any problems you may have. I am an absolute control freak, but with Kyler I knew everything would be taken care of, and I didn’t feel the need to worry whatsoever. She was incredible from the very start to the very end. Friends and family could not stop complimenting the venue, it truly is stunning. The house and cottage made the whole experience so much better for us, as it was an extra touch having all our nearest and dearest able to stay on site the night before and after the wedding. I could honestly go on, but I am aware this might be the longest review ever written! So I’ll leave it with, absolutely 5⭐️’s, would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone! From the first moment we visited the Riverlands we knew this was the venue we wanted to get married at. The warm welcome from Ed & Kate made you feel like they would look after you every step of the way and they certainly did that. When we started organising our wedding, they talked us through every option and there was no pushing us into anything that we didn’t need or want. They were always on hand to answer any questions by email and we were always welcomed back to the venue to have a look around to check on measurements, locations for decorations and outdoor games. On our Wedding Day, we couldn’t have wished for anything better, Kyler (the organiser) was amazing, she came over to the cottage first thing to check in and go through the running of the day, she kept everything running on time and let you know when you need to move on, she felt like part of the family, she just made the whole day run so smoothly and she also kept our dogs entertained at times. We hired Born BoHo to decorate the venue and hired the outdoor games from which did not disappoint, it looked amazing, we hired Annikas apron for our caterers and the food was honestly some of the best we have ever had. Thank you all for making our day the best day ever, I wish we could do it everyday 😊

From start to finish Kate,Ed,Kylar and the team have been truly amazing. They have not stopped and made sure that we have been in touch regularly and anything we had a question on was answered as soon as possible. They have made our day one we will cherish forever and a truly beautiful day. It was all we had ever dreamed of and more. The venue is simply stunning with the grounds around just picture perfect. You’d be crazy not to want your special day and to say I do here at The Riverlands. I can’t wait to go back and stay in the cottage and relive some of our magic all over again. Simply the best. My granddaughter and her husbands' wedding was absolutely magical and the best wedding by far I have ever attended. The venue was spectacular and they were so accommodating, I can’t praise them enough. If you want the best venue for your wedding this would be it!

Well what a fantastic venue! Instantly fell in love when viewing and the experience there after couldn’t have been any better. Pulled out all the stops for my wedding and couldn’t have asked for better staff to help us out on our special day! Special mention to Kyler what a wonderful woman couldn’t do more for us and a genuinely brilliant venue manager! Best venue ever all guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

Well, where do we start with Riverlands… We honestly could not have picked a more amazing venue! Our day ran so smoothly and perfect and that was all thanks to Kyler and the amazing team. All our guests have told us how magical the venue is and they are 100% right. We knew from the first moment we viewed Riverlands that it would be for us and it did not disappoint. Do not hesitate in booking this venue, it was perfect from start to finish!

The venue was amazing, such a magical place. Everything was on point, a fabulous day from start to finish. My daughter had the wedding day of her dreams. Really couldn't have asked for more absolutely beautiful, I'd give more stars if I could. Thank you!

As a photographer I have been lucky enough to shoot here a few times - twice last year and it never disappoints. There is such a wide range of photographic opportunities within a minutes walk around the venue. The owners are always around site on the morning and are very attentive. The venue has a beautiful ceremony barn and then a huge, light barn which allows you to capture great images inside of speeches and food. A short stroll out of the venue leads to more beautiful Yorkshire scenery!

Where do I honestly start on how amazing Kate and Ed are as the owners of Riverlands. Not to mention Kyler and the rest of the team. We got married at Riverlands on 03.08.2024 and all I can say is what a DAY. A dream I have had since being a little girl come true. Myself and Nick as Mr & Mrs are in such a little love bubble and it is all thanks to the team for making our day run so smooth without you even realising. Kate and Ed welcomed ourselves and our family into their own home to stay for the weekend at The Farmhouse and The Cottage and wow just what a beautiful home it is. The Farmhouse was perfect for our wedding party and the cottage was such a quaint lovely place for myself and my bridesmaids. The full day was everything we ever hoped for a more. Kate and Ed had been so helpful from day dot of us booking them years prior. Just so in love with our day and will be something to cherish for the rest of our lives. We recieved so many compliments from our friends and family who came to our special day on how beautiful the venue was from start to finish and the compliments just kept coming. We could not recommend Riverlands enough to anyone looking to get married as this was THE perfect place to enter into a life time of happiness.

If you're currently looking for a relaxed, bohemian and intimate wedding venue, then look no further!! Riverlands is the perfect wedding venue! We got married here on 29/07/2024 and it surpassed all of our expectations. All of our guests were blown away with the stylish decor and feel to the venue. We were so lucky to have the sun shining down us on our wedding day, and being at Riverlands with the sun on you, made you feel like you were in the Mediterranean! Kate and Ed, thank you for making us feel like no question was too big, too small or too silly to ask you in the run up to our wedding, you made us feel at ease when planning our wedding. Kyler, thank you for being the most attentive person on our wedding day. You made the day run seamlessly, and we appreciate all the things that may have not seen, but found out from our guests how much you went the extra mile!! It's honestly such a stunning venue and one that should be shouted about. Thank you again for letting our special day be at Riverlands, we loved every second of it xxxxxx
