We got married on 19th July 2024 & Kilronan Castle played an absolute blinder. We couldn't fault the castle in any way, nor can our guests... the service was second to none, everything ran so smoothly & the food was to die for. Our wedding coordinator Clare Horgan is the most loveliest lady whom we will be forever indebted to for her love, & service throughout the entire planning & on our special day.If you are on the hunt for your dream wedding venue, then Kilronan Castle is the place for you. On very our first visit to the castle we were met by Irene, she was responsive with regard to any communications and patient and accommodating with us throughout the experience. She made sure everything ran smoothly on the run up to and the day of the wedding. We fell in love with the venue itself, from the beautiful decor to the stunning grounds. There was ample space for our guests.We chose to have our wedding at Kilronan Castle and we really could not have had a better experience. We viewed it two and a half years ago and fell in love with it. We knew it was the one for us so we booked it there and then and cancelled all our other viewings in other venues. Over the last couple of years we have been lucky enough to stay in Kilronan Castle on numerous occasions. The staff are amazing, so professional and so welcoming.For anyone considering Kilronan Castle as their wedding venue, all I can say is book it!! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the most magical weddings at Kilronan Castle was a romantic winter celebration. The Grand Ballroom was transformed into a fairytale with candlelight, burgundy and gold accents, and stunning floral displays. A dazzling fireworks display lit up the castle and lake, and the night ended with dancing in the charming Dungeon Bar. It was pure elegance and romance in every detail.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our favorite personal touches at a Kilronan Castle wedding was when the couple used childhood photos to name their tables. Each table featured a picture of them at the corresponding age—Table 1 had photos of them at age 1, and so on. It was a beautiful way to share their journey, sparking smiles and conversations among guests. This creative and sentimental idea added a playful, personal element that perfectly complemented the castle’s warm and inviting atmosphere.
