Facilities and Capacity The CAPE’s sprawling grounds and stately mansion feature many unique settings for your special day. The Wilde Garden and Terrace is a magnificent location for large ceremonies and receptions. Its neatly cropped grass and towering black walnut trees provide the canvas for a perfect wedding. Here, you can celebrate your love surrounded by up to 900 of your nearest and dearest. Inside, there are several elegant spaces you can reserve for your festivities. The Odyssey Ballroom offers a traditional banquet hall aesthetic suitable for 120 seated guests or 150 for a cocktail-style reception. Joplin Hall, The Burns Parlour, and Twain Wing of the home each boast a timeless atmosphere and are ideal for intimate celebrations or pre-wedding cocktails. The staff at this venue have extensive experience hosting weddings. Professional event specialists assist in vendor selection and organization of your complete vision. Catering styles range from plated service to cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Accommodation Couples can spend a romantic night, (or weekend!) in the mansion’s four luxurious suites. The individually designed suites are inspired by old Hollywood glam. These suites are perfect for preparing and pampering yourself before the wedding.
