With the stunning backdrop of dramatic hillsides and rivers, our Victorian grade II listed, former Headmaster’s House and School, sit proud and welcoming in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We promise luxury, relaxation and beautiful interiors, as well as a superb 3 AA Rosette menu, a bespoke wine and bar list and a personal and professional service from the moment you arrive. Voted the most romantic hotel in the UK, we pride ourselves on creating the most amazing day you will never forget. We have two beautiful rooms licensed for civil marriages and civil partnerships. The Orangery, a beautiful room with panoramic views of the Dale, is perfect for up to 90 guests seated, more with standing. The Masters Room, with it’s large bay window overlooking the lawn, creates an elegant setting ideal for an intimate ceremony for up to 25 guests. With five beautiful churches nearby, Askrigg, Hawes, Hardraw, Stalling Busk and Aysgarth there is also the option for a church ceremony followed by reception at Yorebridge House. After the “I do’s” it’s time to celebrate, mingle and share some bubbles with your friends and family. With exclusive use of the house and grounds, your drinks reception and canapés can be served on the terrace and gardens or in the lounge bar. Your 3 course wedding breakfast can be enjoyed in the House for up to 75 guests or in a Marquee or Tipi on the lawn for up to 120 guests. Your wedding menu will be created by our award winning kitchen team and drinks chosen from our carefully selected, extensive bar and wine list. The House is yours for the night. All of our bedrooms are individually designed offering the ultimate in luxury, style and relaxation. Sumptuous furnishings, up to date technology, stunning scenery and with the utmost attention to detail, you and your guests will feel spoilt and pampered throughout your stay. Our Perfect Wedding!Our Perfect Wedding!
If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue or weekend away, look no further. After staying at Yorebridge for a couple of overnight stays, my partner suggested it would be a great place for us to get married. Best suggestion he has ever made! Charlotte, James and the whole team worked so hard to make it beyond what we could have ever wished for. From attending the menu tasting to the detailed meetings with Charlotte about how we wanted the day to flow, to the actual wedding 3 days it was the best experience ever. Everyone talked about the stress and not to worry if things go wrong on the day.... It was not an issue for us. Charlotte made sure everything ran to perfection, our guest felt as special as we did, the food was out of this world and everyone had a beautiful room to relax and enjoy. All our guest commented about the beautiful location, (our wedding photos are just amazing the back drop is so pretty) and the attentiveness of the staff, on hand and friendly but not in your face. As the bride I felt I had an army of people supporting me on my big day making sure it was just how I had described and wanted. Us along with all our wedding guests will be returning for years to come and would not hesitate to recommend Yorebridge House to anyone for weddings, special occasions or just to treat yourself.If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue or weekend away, look no further. The most amazing venueThe most amazing venue
Honestly we can not describe how AMAZING Yorebridge house is! We have had three dates for our wedding with rearrangements etc, not at any point was it trouble when had to move the date! When the day finally arrive it was the most incredible day of our lives! The staff are incredible as is the food and the venue!!! Everyone commented on how it almost felt like home! Welcoming, professional, personable and attentive! Charlotte and Paul were amazing at organising & getting everything sorted the night before and the day of and the day after! Charlotte had to set all the wedding room and tables etc after the ceremony, after our briefing that she had arranged the day before it was all done perfectly and anything she wasn’t sure off she would pop upstairs to where the bridal party were getting ready and check if it was okay! The venue looked amazing, if you want a venue where attention to detail is their thing, then you’ve found it! From tealights, to burning candles to back ground music they just know how to do it!! The rooms are the best rooms I have ever stayed it! Immaculately clean, the decor, the hot tubs!! Amazing!! This review can’t put into words how amazing yorebridge house is, you have to go and experience it for yourself and if you want the perfect wedding venue, you’ve found it!! The Best Day Ever!The Best Day Ever!
The first time we visited Yorebridge House for information regarding weddings we just fell in love with the venue, a very friendly, warm and cosy feel. It was the perfect choice for us as before covid we were going to go abroad to get married with just immediate friends and family as we are very shy people! Yorebridge was a great combination not to small but not massive so that our guests looked lost. All staff are extremely helpful and welcoming and to top it off the rooms are gorgeous! We have had so many comments on how good the food was for the wedding breakfast also. Wonderful from start to finish Wonderful from start to finish
The venue and the setting speak for itself but the defining aspect for us was the people. Sophie is amazing. All the stress of the day was taken away. All the details were remembered. Those little things that you said were important to you alone but probably wouldn’t be picked up on by others were emphasised. So professional and welcoming at the same time. We really felt like she cared about our day and her smile and “it will work” attitude is infectious. Would recommend 100%. The venue and the setting speak for itself but the defining aspect for us was the people. Sophie is amazing. All the stress of the day was taken away. All the details were remembered. From the moment we stepped foot inside Yorebridge House, we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding day here. As expectations go, Yorebridge went above and beyond with every little detail. Our day was everything we dreamed of and more. We'd like to thank all the friendly staff, a special thank you to the chef for the mouth watering food, Charlotte and Dave for making us feel welcome from day one and Sophie who has been a dream to work with, from start to finish, through postponing for a year due to the pandemic, she has been nothing but supportive, positive and determined to make our day special. From the moment we stepped foot inside Yorebridge House, we knew we wanted to celebrate our wedding day here. As expectations go, Yorebridge went above and beyond with every little detail. Our day was everything we dreamed of and more. After a number of rearranged dates due to the coronavirus, we finally got married here and it was everything we had dreamt for. The venue is stunning and the staff are so attentive. We chose the venue because of the relax environment, gorgeous food and wine. We wanted our guests to have the whole experience and not only attend our wedding but to have they own break away. Guests loved the rooms and we continue to get comments about how brilliant the whole experience was. We had the whole venue to ourselves followed by breakfast the next morning with all of our guests which was lovely as we could hear stories and events from the wedding the previous day. Amazing hotel & wedding venue with incredible stafAmazing hotel & wedding venue with incredible staf
Was fortunate enough to be a part of a wedding at Yorebridge House over New Year’s holiday 2019/20. We stayed three days at the hotel with the wedding happening on the second night, both in the existing premises and the beautiful 120+ guest tipi, which was erected just outside the main room(s). The staff at the hotel were absolutely incredible, always around and accommodating to every request that was made. Charlotte, Dave, Sophie and the team put in such a phenomenal effort by keeping up with all of the guests - being on hand 24/7 and keeping us all supplied with food & drink, directing us around, cleaning up after us, and generally making our experience as carefree and amazing as possible. The bride, groom and family of both have been blown away with how beautifully decorated the spaces were for us, and the outdoor tipi was especially memorable. The food was spectacular, both in the private dining area (amazing wine cellar downstairs, would highly recommend using) and served en masse during the reception. The highlight must have been the fantastic fireworks display that Dave put on for us, which was honestly on par with anything you would expect from a professional crew. Will never forget having the team on site until we had all finally gone to bed at 2.00am and then seeing some of the same faces bright-eyed and bushy-tailed making us breakfast from 8.00am. When you are the father of the bride for your eldest daughter then you want to make it special. Emma and James announced their engagement in late 2018 and we spent many weekends with them visiting potential venues to make their wedding day as special as possible. When they finally chose Yorebridge House for a New Year's Eve wedding we were secretly delighted. The venue oozed class and charm in equal measures. The rooms were of a very high standard, beautifully furnished and with hot tubs that were very appealing. The food was to die for and we really liked the staff that looked after us for our weekend stay. Having booked the venue months ago, it felt like 2019 passed very quickly but Sophie was always there keeping my daughter informed, always communicating promptly, always in control of every situation and every question. The big day arrived on Tuesday, New Year's Eve 2019 and our family and friends had the most amazing couple of days. From the moment we arrrived we were made to feel very special. The service can only be described as outstanding in every way. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile and a polite, courteous manner. Our private groom's dinner in the sumptous Laurent Perrier room was a real treat with fantastic food and wine. On the big day itself, the staff were there in the background, dealing with the stresses and strains of us all getting ready for a lunchtime wedding. When we returned for our tipi reception we were literally blown away by how impressive it looked. It brought tears to my daughter's eyes it was so magical. Everyone was seated and then the food came - we had the most amazing beef from the local butcher. It literally melted in your mouth. The climax of the day was a memorable fireworks display conducted by the owner, Dave Reilly, which was one of the best I've seen and which drew gasps from our guests as it went on and on with more and more incredible colours and noises. I do feel I should also mention the staff who had worked all day, by our side from 7.30a.m. through to 2a.m. Some of them were back again at 9 a.m. for breakfast when we came down which was truly remarkable. If you are looking for a wedding venue then look no further than Yorebridge House. I regularly stay in some of the top hotels around the world and can honestly say that this privately-owned and run country hotel is right up there with the very best!
