From the first enquiry the staff were fantastic & they continued to go above and beyond our expectations throughout and on the day itself. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful with views across the countryside and the rooms we used for our wedding were traditional and grand. The whole day couldn’t have been better & I can’t recommend Gisbrough Hall enough! We booked Gisbrough hall because we were familiar with the venue & it is very beautiful. From the first enquiry the staff were fantastic & they continued to go above and beyond our expectations throughout and on the day itself. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful with views across the countryside and the rooms we used for our wedding were traditional and grand. The whole day couldn’t have been better & I can’t recommend Gisbrough Hall enough!

From the first time we visited the venue and met the wedding team, what really struck us was how friendly and welcoming it felt – it made choosing our venue a very easy decision. We can also honestly say that, despite what people often say about planning a wedding, we did not find it stressful – and that’s down to the team of staff. It’s impossible for us to name everyone – we know that there were so many individuals involved, both behind the scenes and front of house, throughout the preparations and on the day – but we really appreciated all their efforts in making our day so memorable.We had the best day and so many of our guests commented how impressed they were with the venue and staff. From the first time we visited the venue and met the wedding team, what really struck us was how friendly and welcoming it felt – it made choosing our venue a very easy decision. We can also honestly say that, despite what people often say about planning a wedding, we did not find it stressful – and that’s down to the team of staff. The staff was absolutely brilliant, couldn't do enough for us, they went out of their way to make the day was perfect which it certainly was. First of all the location is just stunning and made the perfect backdrop for photos. The glasshouse where we had our ceremony is simply beautiful and unlike anything else in the area (believe me, we looked)! The biggest selling point for us with Gisborough Hall was everything that was included with the booking. We got seat covers, menu cards, place cards, the table plan and the flowers for the ceremony table included and arranged by the staff there which left us with a few fewer things to think about and we knew that the vendors would be reputable as they work with the hotel all of the time. During the planning process we were so happy that nothing seemed too big of an ask - we had two different seating plans and ran our day slightly different to usual. There are food choices to suit everyone but we opted for afternoon tea as our wedding breakfast and everything was delicious! We were particularly impressed with the children's afternoon tea which included jam sandwiches and was presented so sweetly. All of the food at the hotel is delicious and we really liked having the opportunity to visit for a tasting beforehand. Breakfast is also included when you stay over and is very tasty. The staff organised for our guests to have a separate room for breakfast the next morning to let the wedding magic continue a little longer. Speaking of staff, everyone was extremely friendly from the staff at reception, the restaurant staff and of course the staff who looked after our wedding party, particularly Mark, Maxine and Katie. We can't thank Gisborough Hall enough for making our day so special for us and all of our friends and family. The venue was spectacular and really accommodating, we are hearing nothing but good things from all our guests. Mark and Katie were fantastic on the day and Bethany was incredible in helping us plan it earlier. As soon as we visited the venue we knew it was the place to get married. After booking the staff were on hand via email, especially Adele who helped us piece our day together. The staff on the day were brilliant and available for anything that we needed. The table was set amazing and staff really helpful. The hotel also went above and beyond with our room. Would 100% recommend! We had a really small wedding with around 43 guests. K- I love it when couples write their own vows! As they're reading them, you can see all the emotions on their faces! Guaranteed to get me crying!
A- I love the different guest book ideas! Especially the ones where you make a note on the hearts and drop them in to the frame! There's so many gorgeous designs to choose
G- I love a string quartet, live music to walk down the aisle is always amazing!
