Woodland Hollow is a beautiful, unique and exclusive blank canvas space that's all yours to bring to life the outdoor wedding of your dreams. Nestled in the heart of the Forest of Marston Vale, hidden up a track past grazing horses, you'll find our enchanted secret entrance that winds though evergreen fir tree woodland under twinkling fairy lights to a huge meadow with breathtaking views of the rolling countryside for miles. The intimate woodland glade is a magical spot for an outdoor ceremony or reception drinks and with 2 acres the adjoining meadow can accommodate any size and style of structure with plenty of space for food vans, mobile bars, games or even a helicopter landing pad! As a blank canvas outdoor venue we are proud to be supplier agnostic, giving our couples complete freedom and welcoming tents, tipis and marquees of all shapes and sizes, catering and bar services to your taste and any other elements that you want to make a truly individual day. We welcome ceremonies and blessings here and are big fans of celebrant (or humanist, or friend, or family!) led ceremonies as a fantastically unique way to personalise your marriage - you'll just need to do the legal bits shortly before or after your big day. Hosting your ceremony with us doesn't add any extra cost to your hire. We know that outdoor weddings require a lot of planning so we include on the day coordination as part of our package, ensuring that we know the details of your suppliers and big day plans to make sure it all runs seamlessly. The practical things are important too and we've sufficient space for all your guest car parking on an adjacent field with direct road access. We're conveniently located in-between Bedford and Milton Keynes, with excellent road and rail transport links. Woodland Hollow is a blank canvas outdoor venue but with a supportive hands-on team, this means that we provide the gorgeous outdoor location and you fill it with everything you want to make your truly unique and special day. You and your suppliers will have exclusive access to the Hollow for four days which typically works on the basis of tent build on day 1, décor and styling on day 2, wedding on day 3 and clear down on day 4. There's access to drinking water for you and your caterer. We also include outdoor festoon and fairylighting. If you'd like to hold your ceremony at the Hollow that's included at no extra charge. We include planning guidance and coordination of suppliers on the day, finishing touches, serving self-supplied beverages and ceremony coordination. We also customise bespoke packages including power, toilets and structure.

From the very first time we visited, we knew this was the perfect place for us. Walking through the beautiful Christmas trees, imagining where our celebrant would stand for the ceremony, and seeing the open space for the marquee—it was everything we dreamed of. The views from the marquee were simply stunning and added so much magic to the day. In the lead-up to the wedding, Oliver and his family were incredible. They were always available to answer questions, offer advice, and recommend suppliers. Their support, friendliness, and constant communication made the whole planning process so much easier. On the big day, they were right there again, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. We truly couldn’t have asked for more. Woodland Hollow is not just a breathtaking outdoor venue—it’s run by the most wonderful people who genuinely care about making your day perfect. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. If you're looking for the ideal outdoor wedding venue, this is it. Absolutely perfect.From the very first time we visited, we knew this was the perfect place for us. First viewing this venue, it took our breath away! Christmas trees with lights, opening into a field where you can add whatever you want to have your perfect day. We first met the Hannah, Jennie, Oliver and David in May 2021. We’d made the difficult decision to move our wedding from Majorca, it’s fair to say that at that stage we were a little fragile. We’d heard about Woodland Hollow and went for a visit. Before we’d even seen the venue, the family welcomed us and treated us with so much sensitivity. We really appreciated the personal and kind approach. We went to look around the venue and it was humbly breathtaking. It was meant be, rustic, relaxed and naturally beautiful. The team at Woodland Hollow were so proactive in reaching out to our events team and at each step of the way nothing was ever too much bother. Each time that we went to the venue, we had such wonderful experiences, the family would always come out to work with us and always made us feel soooooopo excited. Woodland Hollow isn’t just a venue, it is a supportive package with a team of people dedicated to making you feel special. We will always have great memories of our day, but also fond memories of working with such lovely people. We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. We recently got married at Woodland Hollow and give the venue our highest recommendation! If you're looking for a blank canvas venue, you will be in the safest of hands planning your day with Woodland Hollow. This venue had everything we were looking for. Set in the beautiful greenery of the great outdoors with plenty of space and stunning views, the tree clearing spot was perfect for what we pictured for a marriage ceremony. It's simply stunning and actually needs little to no extra decoration to be just the most whimsical woodland area. Initiallly we met the super friendly team and felt it the perfect place for our day, as we could be decision makers for each and every element of the day. We felt ecstatic excitement then and at each stage after, having discussed potential use of the space and all our ideas sounding possible. While allowing us to have those choices was probably one of the best parts of having our day here, the staff then made it incredibly easy and helped an enormous amount in the running of the day itself. Hannah as our key contact made sure we had thought of everything in the planning stages, liased with a number of our suppliers, and then ensured we had the smoothest run wedding day by none other than herself and some colleagues. She has an impressive wealth of experience, and knowledge of local suppliers if you need help. Thank you once again to everyone who helped us create and enjoy the most special day! We will be forever grateful, and happy we chose Woodland Hollow. (We've even joked about booking a vow renewal ceremony in 25 years time..!)
