Wick Farm is a medieval farm steeped in history and built for the monks at nearby Hinton Priory. Dating from 1372 it is set in 37 acres of stunning countryside, complete with horses, sheep, pigs, chickens and even a duck pond.
The beautiful threshing barn with views of the Westbury White Horse could not be a better rural retreat for your special day.
Just off the A36, sandwiched between Bath, Bristol, Chippenham, Warminster and Frome with parking for 50 cars and full wheel chair access into both barns, Wick Farm makes the perfect venue for your wedding, party, conference or meeting.
At Wick Farm you not only have a great rural setting for your special occasion – you have access to all the services and suppliers for a wedding or event. Wedding Florists who can create stunning floral displays; hotels and taxi firms for all your guests. We will ensure all your needs are met.
With a licence for Civil ceremonies and partnership we can provide everything for your wedding day under one roof.

We’re Chris and Jess McCullagh, and we feel incredibly privileged to call Wick Farm our home and the heart of our family business. Set in the beautiful Somerset countryside just outside of Bath, Wick Farm is full of character and charm, with a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere — and we love sharing it with others.

The rustic barn setting was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. One of the things we loved most was being able to spend the entire day there — from getting ready in the morning to celebrating late into the night and staying over afterwards. It made the whole day feel relaxed, seamless, and so special. The owners and organisers were exceptional from start to finish. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure everything ran smoothly. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their support took all the stress out of the day. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a better team. Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful rustic space with outstanding service.We had the most incredible experience at this venue. This was it this was where we wanted to get married. From the amazing views outside to the stone walls, twinkling lights and overhead wooden beams inside. It is quite literally picture perfect. In the run up to our wedding Jessica and Chris were accommodating to our needs and on the day the staff went above and beyond in their attention to detail to ensure our day ran seamlessly. It was quite honestly magical. Wick Farm has an enchanting feel which is oddly homely. All of our guests fell instantly in love with it just as we had. It's a lovely barn conversion set on a small parcel of land, with catering/event management provided by Strawberry Fields. We had an excellent wedding there, which exceeded all our expectations. The venue holds up to around 150 people, we had around 50 - 60 and it was the perfect place to have our special day. It was the first venue we viewed on a dark January afternoon in the pouring rain, and we just fell in love with it. The whole process of arranging our day was made SO easy by both Jess and Chris, and Santa from Strawberry Field Caterers. The food was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. I just wish we could do it all over again! The most wonderful day in the most wonderful venue! I honestly can’t think of any negative points at Wick Farm. - ttara money11/06/2025Dream Vision Literally came to life Dream Vision Literally came to lifeThe second i walked through the wooden framed glass barn doors & saw the twinkle lights ceiling canopy, neutral colour tones & wooden floors my heart skipped a beat & we just both knew Wick Farm Bath was our one. Id had the same feeling when my now husband kissed me on our 1st date. That was my sign. The gardens & outside space were also just stunning. We were so lucky we still had the wisteria in full bloom on our day in full sun & it just added to the sparkle. My dream vision would look just perfect & more on our day & we could not have wished for more. Jessica & Chris were more than accommodating. from my request of 'can you measure this, can you check that, can i bring this, can we do that.. Being 1.5hrs away meant we relied on them when we could not just pop by & do it ourselves. Nothing was to much. Santa, Strawberry Fields Catering were amazing with us. Always prompt & we never had to chase for anything. on my emails, we always received quick responses back. The attention to detail was next to none. we married in a local church & had a reception at Wick but i would get married again & here if i could & would highly recommend this venue to anyone wishing for a blank canvas to see your dream come to life. I'm sad its all over for us but Wick is waiting for you. i could go on & on but that would give away the unique charm this venue has & you all deserve to go see this for yourself. I needed to see more and so we booked a viewing: From the second we walked through the barn doors of Wick Farm Bath and saw the bare barn with twinkles hanging from the ceiling, my heart skipped a beat, we both went WoW and my brain was overwhelmed with visions. We both said Yes … this is it From the neutral wood floors, to the beautiful chairs and naked stone walls. I was captivated. We’ve had nothing but positive from the moment we booked till we closed the door on our day. We was looked after by Santa (catering) Jessica’s & Chris throughout and the boys also enjoy clay pigeon shooting the day before. Our vision for dressing the barn was more than we could ever imagined. I never do anything by halves so to see her in all her glory just confirmed we’d made the right choice. A Truly magical day. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
A Winterwonderland wedding was one of my favourites! We supply fairy lights outside and inside, but this wedding provided trees inside the venue filled with lights! Flowers hang on ribbons along the 'alter' wall, candles everywhere, it was beautiful, the bride was in ivory silk, velvet and fur, she looked stunning. They had their photos in our beautiful open hay barn which has a lovely rustic feel with hay bales and stacked of logs.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do not get too many people involved in the planning and setting up and stick to your guns!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Ivy on the beams, fairy lights and candle light.

Stunning, rustic, medieval, elegant, relaxed.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Outside the Lower Barn is a large decked area overlooking the pond with its ducks, moorhens and other wildlife. Under cover there is the old hay barn.
Leading from the Upper Barn is a terraced area surrounded by lawns and gardens.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes, several; Fearne Cotton, Jamie Oliver, Zara Philips, Several of England Rugby players! To name a few.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Roast beef on a mini Yorkshire
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Not quite midnight, but 10pm ish; Paella from our Street food menu cooked outside in massive Paella dishes.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
It's stunning 600 year old beams and the Medieval oak arched door with roses around it and the ancient beams in all the buildings including accommodation.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The conversion of the farm and making our brides and grooms so happy.
