Priston Mill is made up of both the 18th century Tythe Barn and gorgeous ancient Watermill which retain their distinctive characteristics that make them truly unique and much loved. The Watermill offers the option of an outdoor wedding ceremony and drinks reception set within tranquil gardens boasting manicured lawns and a lovely pergola. The Tythe Barn offers a truly beautiful inside ceremony option and large space for the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. there is also a farmhouse onsite with six bedrooms for you and your guests to stay in the night of your wedding. Relax with panoramic views of the countryside and be treated to superb cuisine prepared on-site by the professional team on your big day.

It appealed to us as they had 2 different venue options The barn and the Watermill. The watermill was perfect for us as we wanted a small and intimate space. We loved it from the moment we saw it. The staff were very helpful from the start and very hands on to organising our day and our wedding meetings. We could contact them very easily through email and they always answered within a few days. They were very helpful with helping us decide how to decorate and use our space to advantage and they made the process from start to finish very stress free. We would absolutely recommend them for a wedding. Special mention to Clara, Nick and Katie who were our touch points through the process and the when wedding day. Chloë and the team at Priston Mill were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. You can tell that they know what they are doing! The day just flowed so beautifully and Chloë brought a fun element with her great mc skills too. The food was out of this world and the quality of the wine & sparkling wine was excellent too. We didn’t have to worry about anything on the day as it was all taken care of after months of planning and great communication via email, phone calls and in person. We wish we could just do it all over again and we’d choose Priston Mill every time . Thank you again for such a magical wedding day, love from The Cottle’s. On the day itself Liberty our wedding coordinator and all the staff involved had everything covered and were so attentive and thoughtful right until the last guest left. The organisation, the food, the setting, our wedding coordinator Liberty were all excellent. We had so many compliments from guests who said it was the best wedding they'd been to. The organising before our big day was very professional and fully informative. On the day the fabulous food, great service and the team on site ensure everything went well and we had an amazing time, we even enjoyed the lovely grounds as the weather was sunny! The kitchen team needs mentioning, as the meal and service was absolutely flawless. We can’t recommend this place enough. Priston Mill was the beautiful setting for our wedding in February 2025. The team on site were absolutely flawless. The organising before our big day was very professional and fully informative. On the day the fabulous food, great service and the team on site ensure everything went well and we had an amazing time, we even enjoyed the lovely grounds as the weather was sunny! I love Xmas time and having the Xmas tree there made it feel even more magical! Our wedding planner, Katie was great - making sure that every last detail was sorted and carried out perfectly. All other staff members did a great job also! The food was amazing. Many of the guests said that they loved the sticky toffee pudding and wanted more! I would definitely recommend this venue. My husband and I had our wedding here in December and it was truly amazing. I love Xmas time and having the Xmas tree there made it feel even more magical! We recently hosted two of England's most cherished Olympic Swimmers... we won't disclose names but it was definitely a party to remember!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our Parma ham-wrapped sausages are always in high demand, loved for their irresistible flavour. For a vegetarian alternative, the bocconcini and cherry vine tomato arancini are a standout choice—delicately crafted and simply delicious.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
For us, it has to be our brand new Priston Skewers—freshly prepared, full of flavour, and perfect for those late-night cravings.

Gifted by King Athelstan to the monks of Bath Abbey in the 10th century, the Watermill, is quite simply the kind of location people dream of. The Watermill is an enchanting and ancient building. Steeped in history, it is a fascinating and unique setting for a wedding.
