Located in Bath, arguably the most beautiful city in the country, the Roman Baths is a unique ancient monument available for wedding ceremonies and receptions, suiting a variety of sizes and budgets. Couples frequently elope to the Roman Baths while others choose to have intimate and grand celebrations.
Enjoy an outdoor wedding by flickering torchlight with the security of being undercover, always safe from the unpredictable British weather. Immerse yourselves in the romance of a Sunrise or Sunset torch-lit ceremony, where you will exchange your vows on the 2000-year-old Roman paving alongside the naturally thermal waters - the Great Bath is continuously filled with hot flowing water which rises up bubbling from deep underground, warmed by the heat of the earth’s
core.
Following a Sunrise Ceremony and photographs, you have the freedom to celebrate as you wish. Why not experience a special wedding breakfast in the iconic Pump Room above, book a private boat on the River Avon or take a dip in the naturally hot spring water at Thermae Bath Spa? Bath has so much to offer and the choices are endless.
After a Sunset Ceremony, couples can choose to celebrate with a seated dinner and dancing or a less formal catered party in the adjoining Georgian Pump Room or enclosed Terrace overlooking the thermal Baths.

The process was easy from start to finish. But a big thank you must go to Deb's and Kizzie who were superb at making sure we had everything covered. From the legalities and what we needed to do, to personalising the day to make it our own, and music suggestions. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to elope or do something a bit different for their big day.The location itself is remarkable but the whole team who helped us to organise it really do make it magical. There's no wrong choices for photo spots, but we especially love shots of couples besides the steaming water's edge with the Abbey in the background.
