It was so lovely to see you there on the day it made it feel extra special as you helped us from the very beginning. It was everything we could have dreamed of & more, Clevedon Hall is the most stunning venue, the food was perfect! So many of our guests have said that’s the best wedding food they have ever had it was incredible so massive compliments to you all. Omg it still feels very surreal, we had the most perfect day & it’s all thanks to you, Kyle & all the team at Clevedon Hall. Clevedon Hall—a venue that will always have a special place in our hearts.We viewed Clevedon Hall for the first time on 14th May 2023 and instantly knew it was perfect for us. A quick Google search trying to find a venue near Bristol with an orangery led us to Clevedon Hall. We brought our parents and just felt it ticked so many boxes: close to home and not far for guests to travel, overnight accommodation so we could have all our nearest and dearest stay with us overnight, beautiful grounds and the most gorgeous Conservatory with an abundance of plants and flowers. Every room we explored we were in awe of and that’s before even seeing the bedrooms it has to offer. The thing about England is that it can rain at any given time with no notice, so having a venue which could hold all of our guests inside without it feeling cramped if the weather was bad was really important to us. Clevedon Hall offered all of these things and after viewing several other venues just nothing compared! Fast forward two and a half years later and we are here writing a review as husband and wife for everyone to hear how amazing the venue and staff have been. We first met Lauren at the beginning of our journey and Lauren made us feel so welcome at the venue when we had our private tour. Having not done this kind of thing before was daunting but Lauren put our minds at ease and was able to answer all of our questions and we left feeling elated,excited and confident that we had booked the best venue for us. Thank you Lauren. We had the pleasure of being introduced to Megan, who was our wonderful wedding co ordinator and helped us over the 18 months in the lead-up to the wedding. Megan kept in touch with us all the way through and was completely on top of the planning side of things, and was there to keep us in check (in the most patient way) right up to the wedding day. With little reminders of what was needed and by when. Safe to say, with her diligence, she saved many mistakes on the day! So thank you, Megan and Sacha, for your help over the past 18 months. Your patience, kindness, and expertise haven’t gone unnoticed, and you are all a credit to Clevedon Hall. Thank you! Finally, a huge, huge thank you to Matthew. We certainly have not forgotten everything you did for us in such a short period of time. From the moment Megan introduced us to you as our event manager, we couldn’t have been more impressed with your professionalism, kindness, and expertise. It was completely daunting arriving at the venue to discuss the whole day in detail, from decor to timings and everything in between, but you made us feel as though nothing was a problem, and we knew our special day would be perfect having you behind the scenes. On the day you were calm and collected especially in the lead up to the ceremony when we certainly weren’t. You kept us, our guests and each part of the day on track and nothing was too much of a problem. Everything was set up perfectly and we were so happy with how the day went. We are confident that with out you there, even simple things like the right time for the bridesmaids and myself to walk down the aisle would have been a flop. At every crucial moment you were there to make sure everything went as planned, you are amazing at what you do and so unbelievably grateful to have you there on our wedding day. They completely took care of everything, we were able to leave it in their hands which took away a massive amount of stress. We were beyond thrilled that Katie pulled us to see the library before anyone was invited in to find their seats, it made such a special touch to make sure that we were happy with everything. The whole place looked lovely and thank you to everybody involved from cleaners to chefs it was all fantastic!The Team were just incredible! They completely took care of everything, we were able to leave it in their hands which took away a massive amount of stress. The day was everything we could have wished for and more. The setting was beautiful the food superb and everything was so organized from start to finish. We would like to thank the staff for making us so welcome and ensuring that all our needs were met (particularly the lady on reception). Cannot recommend the venue and staff enough.We had the pleasure of celebrating the marriage of our son Gareth to his beautiful fiancé Rachael at Clevedon Hall. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It is difficult to pick just one but one of the first weddings we did after installing our stunning bedrooms was amazing. They had picked a delicious menu, there was a wonderful fun/family feel and every single person was having a great time. We of course do everything we can to build a great experience on but the guests are the ones that bring the atmosphere, excitement and enjoyment. Everyone had an amazing time and the following morning at breakfast everyone still had a huge smile on their faces'.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take lots of notes about your favourite meals before picking your wedding breakfast and try not to think about what your guests like. The most important thing is that you as the couple have a meal to die for and if people have dietary issues we can look after them separately to make sure they enjoy it as well.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
At a recent wedding we had a couple that asked our chef to cook "Grandpa's Pie". We followed his recipe exactly and with some help from Mum we made sure it tasted just like Grandpa used to make. It was delicious and everyone loved it.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Just outside near our Gazebo. You get great shots of the building and the grounds. Sometimes the Deer pose in just the right spot for a great picture
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Unfortunately we can't comment on this. Privacy is very important.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our Duck Hoisin Bonbons are to die for!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Everyone loves homemade Fish and Chips with an amazing tartare sauce.

Our bedrooms are some of the best in the region
