Situated in the heart of North Devon and set on a 400 acre family farm, this rustic and romantic setting has everything you need to create your perfect wedding or event. Enveloped by scenic rolling hills, with panoramic views across Exmoor and the coast, the secluded location is steeped in character and offers a truly magical hideaway for your special day.
Immersed in nature and set over 12 acres, our events venue is the perfect place for you to let your dreams become reality. With so many scenic settings and endless open fields, you can let your imagination run wild and create the most magical setting for your special day. Our Venue is just 4 miles from Barnstaple, giving you easy access to the local moors and beautiful beaches.
We provide onsite camping facilities, land hire and all-in-one event packages which includes use of our spectacular Nordic tipis, offering a completely open and versatile space that you can decorate and style as you wish. You can also take full advantage of the many picturesque viewpoints around The Venue and take your vows surrounded by your nearest and dearest.
With exclusive use for the entire weekend, you and your guests can really make the most of your stay. Why not explore the scenic woodland walks, spend a night star gazing or take in the dreamiest golden hour sunsets over the lake. Having spoken to the lovely team at the venue this was one of their first weddings having only recently opened and what a fantastic day it was! I really enjoyed photographing at The Venue at Coxleigh, it has so many scenic viewpoints which make for perfect photo opportunities throughout the day. The tipis looked fantastic and went brilliantly with the festival vibe Ellie and Doug had gone with. As you drive down their white shingle path the view of the North Devon countryside takes your breath away and the beautiful Tipis look SO impressive! The location is extremely private which is a huge bonus for big parties and celebrations. Finally, the staff at Coxleigh have always been so kind and friendly and work really well with other local suppliers to bring the wedding/event together seamlessly. I do not hesitate to recommend The Venue at Coxleigh to anyone wanting a unique and special event that has the WOW factor.The Venue at Coxleigh Barton is very special. We absolutely loved our time at the venue, there are so many beautiful spots for photos and the tipis are just stunning. The team are very accommodating and so friendly. The entire day ran so smoothly and the tipis looked incredible with the fairy lights, flowers and furniture and the views are just beautiful!! We had World Inspired Tipis which were put up a couple of days beforehand which allowed us to be able to set up and decorate as and when we wanted. We stayed at the venue in bell tents which were set up around the pond. The Venue itself was spectacular, stunning views with beautiful lakeside settings. The tipis were dressed with fairy lights and open fires, making it so atmospheric.
