The Venue at Sandy Cove

Hi, we stayed for 3 nights at the start of June for my daughters wedding and we could not have been more pleased . The hotel and the grounds were immaculate and in splendid condition . The wedding venue is somewhat special . Everything was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating . A special mention to Neil , the hotel manager , who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for my daughters big day …thank you very very much .

The Hotel was lovely and the food in the Seacliff restaurant was delicious all staff very friendly and helpful an excellent stay if you have a dog. The room was very clean and tea and coffee was a bonus very nice power shower bed was very comfortable and sea view was lovely.

In regard to our actual wedding day, it could not have been more perfect. We had Sammy as our co ordinator and she was exceptional. Our day went seamlessly. Nothing went wrong but I have full confidence that this is due to the diligence of the team. The food is outstanding, many of our guests commenting on how it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We also sat on the balcony for about an hour watching the dolphins who put on a show for us in the bay. It was amazing.

Thank you again to all at The Sandy Cove for creating the most beautiful day for us and our family. From the start you kept us well informed and helped us through the journey effortlessly - as we booked our date whilst still in a Covid lockdown, you went above and beyond to provide us with all information we needed and even provided a video call to show us the attributes of the venue. From then on everything was executed perfectly.

I can no say enough about this venue. If you are looking for sea views, friendly staff and excellent food this is your venue. The views are unreal and something you only dream of, whether you get married indoors or outdoors. The staff are so accommodating and communicate with you well throughout the day. I can honestly say I had the most stress and worry free day and felt like I didn't need to lift a finger as it was all done. Thank you to everyone who made mine and my husbands day so special!!

I cannot recommend Sandy cove hotel and venue enough. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We had a lot of family stay for a long weekend including our little Pup, and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were fantastic and the views speak for themselves. Breakfast was amazing every single morning. We also ate for lunch and dinner here during the stay and it was delicious. The food was incredible. There wasn’t a moment in my day when I was worried. THANK YOU!

The venue was absolutely sensational, we travelled down from London & some family travelled from Ireland. When they saw the venue every guest was in awe, the backdrop in the pictures, the beauty of the sea & cliffs were stunning. The day went perfectly to plan with the help of the most amazing staff, they were so had everything in hand and allowed it to be totally stress free for my now “husband” and I. The food was beautiful, so many guests commented on how tasty the food was. There is not one

Me & my husband got married here last week. We had an absolute amazing day, everything went smoothly and we can honestly say it was perfect. Considering we live 5 hours away from venue, they had been great at answering any questions leading up to our big day. I couldn’t fault our wedding coordinator on the day, our lovely bar staff, our chef, and other staff. The food was unreal, all our guests commented on it. Definitely one to remember! & hopefully see you again on our yearly anniversary!

Finally having the chance to write this review after spending a beautiful long weekend at Sandy cove with friends and family. We got married on Saturday and every single guest commented on the fabulous food and outstanding staff. The location of the venue was stunning and I can’t wait to see our photos, we even managed to get some photos down at Combe Martin beach! The bridal suite was beautiful and I didn’t want to leave. I miss everything about the place already!

We can’t thank Jess and the team enough for putting on the best day we’ve ever had! The view is unbelievable and the venue is stunning! Our children said it was the best day of there lives and all the guests said how beautiful it was! We’re still buzzing about it now! Thank you so much again you made our big day amazing xxx
