Tunnels Beaches is a uniquely designed coastal wedding venue – accessed via a hand carved tunnel through the cliff and with its own PRIVATE BEACH! Fully licensed for wedding ceremonies within a thatched gazebo overlooking the sea, or inside our contemporary and stylish bespoke venue building – ensuring there are no concerns about the UK weather! Invite up to 150 day guests and up to 200 evening guests... Late license - party until 1am! Also very popular for Elopement / Intimate weddings! This unique and stunning location is an ideal venue for your special day – beautiful scenery, private secluded beaches with spectacular sunsets and offering a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere. Our rugged coastline make for a dramatic backdrop and awesome photos! Easy access for all your guests via the paved & very gently sloping tunnels. My husband and I got married at Tunnels Beaches in July 2025, choosing their elopement package for 18 guests - the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional! From the breathtaking coastal scenery to the outstanding support from the team, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We instantly fell in love with the venue the moment we saw it. It’s truly one of the most unique and beautiful places to get married in the UK. Jamie, Jac, Naomi, and the entire team went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Jamie was always super quick to reply, really helpful, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. On the day, the staff made everything run so smoothly that we were able to completely relax and enjoy ourselves. We genuinely didn’t have to worry about a thing and we had the most amazing day! :) The accommodation at Woodlands was equally impressive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and luxurious, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved having a BBQ the day before the wedding, it was such a fun and relaxed way to start off the celebrations. Looking back, we truly believe Tunnels Beaches was the perfect place to get married. We wish we could do it all over again! The whole process was made simple and stress free, and everything, from the gorgeous rocky cliffs and beach backdrop to the cosy firepit in the evening, was just magical! From the first time we visited Tunnels, I knew this would be our magical place to get married, not only because of the place itself but also because of the vibe you and your team gave out when showing us around. Nothing was too much for you; all the silly questions I asked were answered even during the weekends or late evenings, the several visits we requested were accommodated with such professionalism and the service during the big day itself was nothing short of phenomenal. We had an amazing experience from start to finish; the venue was second to none, the food was out of this world and the hospitality from your staff during the day was outstanding. All of our guests have commented that' this was the best wedding they have been to with a perfect venue'. We cannot put into words how amazing our time at Tunnels was. Our wedding day was perfect in every way, from set up to last dance, the staff were amazing and made everything run smoothly. The communication from Jamie was flawless throughout the process and made us feel really at ease with planning our big day. We also want to mention Jacs who was just brilliant on the day of our wedding. The accommodation was perfect to extend our celebrations across a few days and everyone said how much they loved the venue. We couldn’t have asked for anything more from Jamie and all the Tunnels staff in the lead up to and on our wedding day. The venue is clearly stunning, however it’s the ease everything comes together which puts the icing on the cake. Everything was clear and communicated extremely well in the planning, and across our whole wedding weekend we felt supported and nothing was too much to ask for. Us and our guests had the best time…we couldn’t keep up with the amount of Instagram posts with pics of the beautiful views. The food was also incredible with people commenting on the paella in particular. On the day we were able to be present throughout and not worry about any part of the organisation because the wedding managers had everything covered and the entire day ran smoothly. It’s special place and we wouldn’t have changed a thing!We couldn’t have asked for anything more from Jamie and all the Tunnels staff in the lead up to and on our wedding day. After being together for 30years we wanted an out of the ordinary wedding venue. Last year we decided to visit Tunnels beach and instantly fell in love and knew that it was here or no where. Our night was truly magical and I wouldn’t have changed a thing . Laid back, chilled and no expectations other than what we had requested. The fact that we could book an evening ceremony suited us better than ever. We love chasing sunsets and our night was blessed with a beautiful view and a sunset that didn’t fail to deliver just what we wished for. The staff were so supportive and welcoming. From first arriving everything was explained clearly of how our ceremony would go and how the night would go there after. Our stunning wedding on a private beach!Our stunning wedding on a private beach!
We were looking for a beach wedding venue in Devon or Cornwall and Tunnel Beaches stood out instantly. At first we thought we'd never be able to afford such a beautiful venue but with packages to suit all budgets we have had our dream wedding and more. The venue itself is stunning! We had an evening wedding at 6pm and the sun glistened on the rocks throughout our ceremony. We even had a rainbow in the gazebo as we signed the register! Our guests were amazed at how private and picturesque everything was. There are so many spaces to get those breathtaking photos. From the tunnels themselves, the striking rocky beach, to the tidal pool with its wonderful reflections. Marley and the team were fantastic. There whenever we needed them but discreetly in the background throughout. The food was delicious and very generous portions! Thanks to the friendly housekeeping staff, the accommodation is incredible too. Our only wish is we could come back and do it all again! What a venue! What a venue!
Tunnels Beaches is simply a stunning venue, and unlike any other in the UK. We looked at having a wedding abroad, but when we saw Tunnels, we booked it without evening viewing it. The views, the beautiful on site accommodation, the tidal pool, the balcony, you couldn’t want for anything more! Our guests were so happy in The Woodlands and Runnymede and it made the build up to our day all the more exciting. Jamie was incredibly responsive throughout the process, and on the day, the venue staff were nothing short of phenomenal. Jacs and Marley - were experts at making us feel like VIP guests and they made the day run like clock work. All of the food was fantastic, especially the paella in the evening, and the ice cream cart was a hit with all our guests. We couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else, and would highly recommend Tunnels. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our wedding day so special. Dan and Meg. The venue is fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive and polite, without being in the way or intrusive. The accommodation was perfect for our group as we could have the entire family under one roof. The first time you walk down the tunnel to the beaches, the view really impresses you, it's incredible. We were very lucky with the weather (having chosen to run the risk of an autumn wedding). The rough seas and moodier sky were the perfect backdrop for our photos. The food was excellent. The PA system worked perfectly and really filled the space with the songs Jen had chosen for her aisle walk and while the rest of the family were mixing after the ceremony. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed. I would highly recommend the venue for anyone wanting to get married.
