Nestled in the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales, the tranquil and beautiful village of Timble provides the perfect setting for your relaxed and intimate wedding. We know that every wedding is unique – after sharing your desires with our experienced and accommodating team, you’re free to enjoy the moments that matter as we bring your vision to life on the big day.
Just a few yards down the road stands the old chapel, an ideal venue for a close-knit ceremony. Seating up to 40 guests, those who mean the most will be close by as you tie the knot. Compact and understated, its rustic elegance befits the rural beauty of the surroundings. Simple yet sophisticated, it’s a great ‘blank canvas’ should you wish to add your own decorative flourishes.
The picturesque village offers plenty of gorgeous spots to capture some special moments on camera. However, if you’re looking for a more spectacular backdrop, head a little way down the road where the stunning valleys of Nidderdale stretch out below you.
Back at the Inn, you and your guests will receive your hand-picked drinks and your selection of mouth-watering canapes. Take these on the lawn and decking, or in the cosy lounge with its log-burning stove – whatever the season, we’ll ensure you enjoy your wedding in style and comfort. Savour your bespoke wedding breakfast in our intimate restaurant – two connected rooms, each seating 20-25 people. The original masonry, oak beams and traditional decor create an elegantly relaxed environment in which to celebrate with your loved ones. The superbly stocked bar caters for all tastes, with excellent locally brewed beers, a dazzling array of gins and spirits and an exquisite wine list. As evening sets in, make memories and toast the future, and perhaps even dance a little. No need to worry about waiting for carriages when the celebrations draw to a close – your rooms are right next door.

The chapel is a lovely, simple space just down the lane, and it felt really personal and relaxed, which suited us perfectly. After the ceremony, the team at the Inn had everything set up and ready to go — we didn’t have to think about a thing. The food was outstanding. À la carte and absolutely faultless — every guest commented on it. It genuinely wouldn’t have been out of place in a high-end restaurant, and it really added something special to the day. The staff were brilliant throughout — friendly, helpful, and always there when needed without being over the top. Special thanks to Enzo, the manager — calm, organised, and just a really decent bloke who clearly knows how to run a great event. We brought our own flowers and a few personal touches, but the venue itself didn’t need much dressing up — it’s already a beautiful place, with loads of character. We wouldn’t change a single thing. The service throughout was amazing and the team could not do enough for you. The rooms are also beautiful and well equipped. The gorgeous breakfast the next morning was welcomed after the excellent range of wines on offer. If you are looking for a venue for a small wedding with amazing food, excellent service, beautiful views and characteristic buildings then The Timble Inn is the venue for you. We chose a three day event where we had the inn exclusively for ourselves and our guests . We had a family Christmas dinner on the evening before our wedding. The next day we had use of the beautiful chapel for our service followed by our wedding breakfast and then a friends celebration dinner on the third day. Everything was exquisite. Each day the food was not only beautiful to eat but beautiful to see. Each plateful was picture perfect and tasted delicious. The rooms were gorgeous and exceeded the expectations of even the most sophisticated traveller. The Inn was a joy to see, full of sparking lights and our own candles and flowers made it look movie set gorgeous. The service was exemplary from beginning to end and nothing was too much trouble for Enzo and his professional team. Our guests were wowed at every turn . We floated away from the three perfect days on a cloud of happiness and relief that it was everything and more than we had planned . We will be forever grateful, and regular returners to this very special piece of heaven on earth . White crab meat tartlet. The key is to have the freshest crab, which we get with our daily deliveries.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A bacon or sausage sandwich is ideal after a long day of celebrating (and vegan versions are available as well!).

The intimacy. Both the Inn and the Chapel create a cosy close feel that is ideal for smaller weddings with your nearest and dearest.
