Nestled down a quiet country lane, tucked in at the foot of The South Downs, The Secret Barn is a ‘proper barn’, on a proper farm. Full of charm, this unpretentious, authentic, old threshing barn is the perfect setting for your laid back wedding. This is the quintessential rural Sussex idyll, complete with a paddock for camping, an orchard perfect or for your ceremony, a lawn for daytime canapé-ing and night time toasting of marshmallows over the fire pit, there are even a few cows. Think trestle tables, garland lights, straw bales, star gazing, wild flowers, Darling Buds of May, Boho romance.

* Weekend Venue hire from £4650 - £5500 Weekends: barn hire varies month to month. Minimum 80 guest catering - catering package starts from £75/head. Flowers from £1750. Includes help from our experienced team to plan your wedding and on the day coordination. Extra catering and flowers are also available.
* Summer Midweek hire £3600. Varies month to month. minimum 50 guests. Catering is from £75/head. Flowers from £1750. On the day coordination and help from our experienced team putting together your perfect day. Extra catering and flowers are also available.
* Twilight wedding barn hire £2600. up to 50 guests only. Available Mid week May - October, weekends also available outside of these times. Catering form £75 (starters, mains and pudding), extra catering and flowers are also available.

Thank you to the whole P&F team including the lovely farmer John, who contributed to our perfect wedding day! From the venue and helping us to get it all ready, the delicious food (everyone keeps saying how delicious the lamb was) to the most beautiful grown flowers, every detail was absolutely unreal. Our guests haven't stopped telling us how special the day was, and how special of a place you have created at the Secret Barn, and we couldn't agree more. And an extra thank you for the cake(!!) - gosh we really hadn't put much thought into the cake and you came out with the most amazing masterpiece full of colourful wild flower blooms- unbelievable - our friends have also said how epic that was and that was all down to you guys. You were so responsive and supportive in the run up, always very relaxed which helped put us completely at ease. We're especially grateful for all the help you gave both before the day and throughout. We were so happy that the weather gods were on our side and we were able to have our ceremony in the outside orchard which was so special, we are so glad it all came together so perfectly. We had the best time ever and we will always remember it with such joy and gratitude. Thank you again for making it unforgettable. From the moment we looked at the website we knew this was a special place and had the vibes we were looking for. Local food and flowers all in a lovely rustic, twinkly setting. We booked straight away after being shown around by Hannah who was super relaxed and absolutely not pushy. We had a few visits to the barn whilst waiting for our date to arrive and it felt so exciting each time. On the day itself Petal and Feast helped us to have an epic wedding day. The food was stupendous, the flowers were incredible, everything was perfect - what we had hoped for and more. Everyone was raving about the food, the relaxed vibes and could see exactly why we fell in love with the venue all that time ago. Not only the venue is absolutely beautiful, but the gang at petal and feast are no short of brilliant!! They create such a relaxed atmosphere and great vibe! All of my guests are still getting in touch to say how lovely everything was and that's definitely down to them!! The food was simply amazing (I'm still gutted I was so full I couldn't possible eat anymore on the day!! Lol), the cake was beautiful and delicious!! And them there's the flowers!! I honestly can't even describe them! The fact that they are literally the ones growing them still baffles me. They also make everything go so smoothly, didn't have to worry about anything on the day! Hannah and Sally's team have a laid back yet organised approach, which made wedding planning honestly feel stress free. One of the best things is that the venue organise all the beautiful flowers that are grown onsite, and provide the food. We had canapés, BBQ sharing dishes, an ice-cream cart, and hog roast in the evening. All the food was excellent and the guests loved it. If you want a laid-back wedding, with opportunities to add your own personal touches - The Secret Barn is definitely for you ! We got married at the Secret Barn in September 2024 and couldn't recommend it more! Hannah and Sally's team have a laid back yet organised approach, which made wedding planning honestly feel stress free.
