The Rhyddings suite is fully self-contained with its own kitchens, dance floor, bar and cloakroom facilities, offering you and your wedding guests exclusive use and all the privacy and personal service that affords. With its stunning 1920’s Art Deco style interior, The Study provides an elegant venue for a civil wedding ceremony. Perfect for small and intimate weddings, it can accommodate up to 50 wedding guests. Known for our excellent hotel restaurants, our chefs offer a modern British wedding breakfast menu, using quality produce and meats from our very own Butchery. Plus, our newly refurbished hotel, and unique Bridal Lodge, can provide for all of your wedding accommodation needs.

During our meetings with her Chelsea was friendly, approachable and very helpful. The study was ideal for a small wedding, we had both the ceremony and the meal in there. We also stayed the night in the hotel and the room was perfect, clean, comfortable and well furnished, no sign of any cheapness in the design. Breakfast was spot on. Aside from our beautiful wedding, Chelsea went above and beyond to ensure we have breakfast and drinks delivered to our room. Before our wedding we were able to look around the hotel different room settings and choose the perfect room for us. The wedding venue was dresses amazing, the food was to die for. All my guests had the best time ever. Not forgetting Alan the toast master he does a amazing job. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We love a themed wedding! We have hosted many over the years including Harry Potter Theme, Peaky Blinders, Halloween, Formula One and much more!
For a Halloween wedding once, the couple hired a 10ft Grim Reaper which stood outside the entrance with Pumpkins all down the stairs of the entrance!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make as many little details as personal to you as possible. Your wedding is all about the 2 of you and your lives together so try and incorporate as much of your personalities/experiences into the day as you can.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We have had a couple of Harry Potter themed weddings, one Bride made Chocolate Frogs for the wedding favours for all guests. Another one for the table plan, guests had to find their name on a huge board of Keys to find the table they were sat on which took the guests a while but we thought this was a great idea! We also had a Wizards Cape & Witches Broom hung from the ceiling above the top table which just looked like they were floating!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have a front lawn area perfect for group shots, we also have lots of beautiful areas inside the venue. We have some stunning fireplaces and chandeliers throughout the venue!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We have had a few weddings guests, Brian McFadden, Lisa Stansfield, Suranne Jones are the first ones we can think of!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our Mini Fish & Chips Cones with Pea Puree are an all time favourite! Along with Mini Cheeseburger Sliders! Both of these canapes go down great with the adults and children!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Some couples choose to add on some late night bacon and sausage sandwiches for guests to snack on after dancing the night away!
We also love when the couples make up little hangover kits for the guests to take at the end of the night!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We only host one full day wedding on one date, ensuring our team can concentrate solely on one couple and their guests! Ensuring everything flows smoothly from start to finish.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The staff we have are amazing! It is so nice on a wedding day, after the months of planning to see the weddings come together and everything to be as the couple have envisioned. Our team are fantastic and go above and beyond to ensure all couples get the special day they have imagined!
