Located in picturesque Essex countryside, The Reid Rooms is a wonderful venue for all seasons, comprising a selection of handsome weather-boarded barns surrounding an attractive courtyard. Set against a stunning rural backdrop and with beautiful gardens, complete with moated Farmhouse accommodation, our venue provides the perfect setting for your wedding day. Licensed for civil ceremonies, which can be held in either the beamed Ceremony Room indoors or outside at either the Meadow Pavilion or Garden Pavilion during the summer months. We can offer field hire for those of you looking for a festival-style wedding, with or without a licensed ceremony location. We pride ourselves on our flexibility. You may bring in any supplier of choice, including caterers, and provide your own wine and Prosecco for the day, all with no corkage charge. There is a fantastic package option too. We run a fully staffed licensed bar for the evening reception. The venue can accommodate small, intimate weddings or more extravagant celebrations of up to 150 guests for the wedding breakfast. We can accommodate up to 200 for the evening reception. We understand how important your wedding day is and we are committed to doing everything we can to give you the day of your dreams.

Special thanks to Lucy for ensuring everything went to time, she is great & an asset to your team! The bar staff excelled & were welcoming & fun to have serving. To the overnight stay in the house & the fabulous breakfast - we still haven't come down from our high & it's all down to you & team Reid Rooms!Thank you for letting us host our wedding at The Reid Rooms it was totally amazing! Corinne was great in answering all the questions and helping with all the details. On the day, we had Angie helping us and overseeing that everything would go well. Having her there brought me and my husband so much peace on a big day. We didn't need to worry about anything and that allowed us fully enjoy our day. We are very happy that we went for this venue. We had our ceremony outside as the weather was beautiful, which looked lovely with all the hanging baskets and flowers around. Corinne and the team always got back to me straight away when I had any questions in the lead up. Sue the farmhouse keeper, made a fabulous breakfast for us all the next day and always made us welcome and sorted any issues straight away! It was a perfect layout for us, the courtyard was brilliant where you can mingle with guests and the grassed area was brilliant for putting up a bouncy castle and some lawn games for the kids to play. The accommodation on site was perfect, it was lovely to be able to get ready at the venue and get some beautiful photos around the grounds.
