Amazing experience from Remi, Holly and Shay. Thank you for making it a lovely time for myself, my son and our friends. Lovely hospitality and the food was amazing. Great vibes honestly can’t wait to visit again 5*. The portion sizes are MASSIVE. Will 100% recommend visiting the oyster bar the most amazing fresh fish you can imagine.

I can't lie as wedding venues go. This has to be the best wedding meal I have ever tasted. The staff and building are impeccable, and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. I would encourage anyone planning a wedding to consider the Kings Oak

Only visited the place for some chips to go with the seafood from the Oyster Shack next door. Looks like a 6, rustic style hotel, very well located next to Epping forest on the one side and watching over a vast valley on the other. Would make a nice place for private parties or even weddings. Ooh chips were lonely, chunky, and crispy, exactly the way I like. 👍

My husband and I were incredibly fortunate and lucky to have got married at the Kings Oak Hotel in Spring 2023… To say our experience of the venue and the staff was exceptional would be an understatement; from the moment we first visited the KO we were made to feel like part of a family and, we knew we were in very safe and capable hands. You never really know how it’s all going to come together on the day, but when we walked in and saw what the team had created we were instantly blown away.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the King’s Oak, every step of the way was discussed. We chose a package where we had their house DJ. I had emailed him the songs we wanted to play, he was brilliant. The venue was beautiful with a large dance floor. We chose buffet food, which was brought out and placed on the tables, plus a drinks package, and these were given to guests. We had the best time and would definitely recommend the Kings Oak to everyone.

I've just had my wedding here. What can I say? It was absolutely exceptional. Paula and her team were amazing, completely on the ball, and made every part run smoothly and seamlessly. They make you feel confident that they have it all under control. The venue is stunning, and many of my guests described the food as delicious. Fantastic service from start to end. I could not recommend this venue and team enough if you're planning a wedding or party!

Wow, what can I say? The Kings Oak event team executed our wedding perfectly. We had the best day!! It was honestly the most incredible venue. Paula and Linzi were amazing on the day. They made sure I was calm, everyone was in place, and the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! So many people have said to me, it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The day went absolutely perfectly; we could not fault a thing. The ceremony went beautifully, and the reception was a blast! I must express my gratitude to all the staff at Kings Oak. It was evident that you all genuinely cared about making our day special. The food was not just good; it was spectacular, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it. The suppliers, including the DJs, Photobooths, and saxophonist, were fabulous. This wouldn’t have been possible without the great team at the KO.

My daughter had wedding party at Kings Oak after being married at high beach church nearby. Venue was fantastic and beautifully decorated and magical with fairy lights and candles. Food was amazing with prawn and crayfish starters and tender lamb shank for mains. Staff were so professional and attentive. DJ was brilliant and got everyone dancing. Thoroughly recommend.
