From the moment we first visited the venue on an open day, we were blown away. Every detail was immaculate — from the beautifully designed and spotless accommodation rooms to the overall layout and atmosphere. It was clear this place was something special.
We were lucky enough to be guided by Gaynor and Kelly, who are simply the dream team. From day one, they made us feel completely at home — like part of the family (even if Kelly is a Chelsea fan!). They took the time to understand us and our vision, and they absolutely nailed it. We wanted a “party wedding,” and they delivered that and more.
Angela, Lara, and the entire bar team were phenomenal. Friendly, fast, and always smiling, they made sure everyone was looked after. Even in the lead-up, they went above and beyond — checking in on specific drink requests for our guests, and ensuring the brand of beers were suitable to the fussy blokes!
The catering was another highlight. From the tasting day, we knew we were in for something special. The food was exceptional — the duck was a standout, and guests raved about the beef. Honestly, it’s a shame the venue isn’t a restaurant when it’s not hosting weddings!
On the day, everything ran like clockwork. Gaynor and the planning team ensured every detail was exactly as we’d asked, and the room looked breathtaking. When a bit of rain threatened, they calmly arranged a gazebo outside without any fuss, keeping guests dry while the room was turned around for the evening band.
Even the morning of the wedding was perfectly orchestrated — making sure we didn’t see each other before the ceremony and that everyone was where they needed to be. Throughout the day, they made sure we had time together as newlyweds to soak it all in, which meant the world to us. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. If we won the lottery, this would be the first place we’d try to buy!
