The venue and grounds are stunning and our wedding coordinator, Evie, made sure everything ran so smoothly throughout the day which really calmed our nerves. Nothing was too much trouble. Molly looked after us for the evening reception and was happy to help whenever we needed something. The food was delicious, the waiting staff were friendly and everything was perfectly clean and tidy. All of the staff at the Ravenswood made it such a magical experience for us. The venue is stunning, completely accommodating to each request I had. Food was delicious and cocktails too! Communication was a huge thing for me when I was looking for venues and from the start, the Ravenswood were extremely responsive and helpful. Everyone is so kind and polite, this is the main reason I booked the venue and what a bonus everything else that came with it! The staff cannot do enough for you and, as a result, we never experienced the nightmare stress people warn you about when you’re planning a wedding. From the moment we took our tour the staff were informative, supportive, patient and friendly. The team anticipate the information you’re going to need and the questions you might have and answer them before you’ve thought them up yourself. They are attentive and check in with you regularly to make sure you’re on track for the wedding. On the day of our wedding the staff truly shone. Absolutely no request was too much for Natalie and she and Georgia did everything in their power to make our day absolutely perfect. Can you build and decorate this cheese tower for us? No problem. Can you bring us espresso martinis to the honeymoon suite? Of course. Can you string up 120 photos of us aged 0-30, in order, in the Jacobean suite? Absolutely. Can you put these various cards, trinkets, and decorations around the venue? Yes! Dawn and The Ravenswood staff made our day absolutely so magical, memorable, and stress free. We didnt have to think about anything and it allowed me to enjoy every minute of the day with my husband! We cannot recommend The Ravenswood anymore the place is jaw dropping stunning and the staff take amazing care of not only the bride and groom but their entire family. When we say The Ravenswood took our breath away, we mean we had that feeling every time we visited the venue and even more so the night before when we knew arrived with our family and they all said the venue is just stunning. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
All of our weddings are wonderful but one that is close to our hearts is when Sam, one of our owners got married at The Ravenswood. It was a beautiful sunny day in May (the same day Meghan married Harry!) and seeing so many of Sam and Garion's friends, family and all the staff of The Ravenswood come together to celebrate the happy couple was truly magical!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember, it's about you and your partner. As long as there is love...all the rest will fall in place!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We've seen so many special moments here at The Ravenswood, but seeing the couples dogs walk down the aisle with the wedding rings has to be our favourite!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have so many but the Boathouse on the lake always captures the most amazing wedding photos, no matter what the season!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes we have, but we respect the privacy of our couples. But we'll give you a hint on one of them, lets just say...what a voice!
What’s your favourite canapé?
The Chef does make an amazing Chilli Chicken and Coriander Patties with Sweet Chilli Sauce!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Ice-cream!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Little Castle which is licensed for outside ceremonies really is our pièce de résistance. It's intimate, it's stunning and so romantic. Just take a look at our photos to see for yourself.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
There are so many parts we are proud of here at The Ravenswood. We do love showing off our wonderful Getting Ready Room, our newly refurbished Jacobean Suite and our stunning Princess Beatrice Suite which overlooks the wonderful gardens and lakes. If we had to choose one..it would be our team. We all LOVE weddings and it shows in everything we do, from the Wedding Consultants, to the gardeners, chefs, housekeepers and marketing team!
