Finally, I'd like to say that the whole experience of dealing with every member of the Parsonage team has been a delight, from initial enquiry, through planning and to the event itself. The room hire and charges were great value for the quality received and I shall recommend you highly to friends.

say a huge thank you to all of the team involved in my party. The lady in charge couldn't have been more friendly or helpful & she managed the team so well. She was absolutely instrumental in making the entire event a success. It's difficult to get great staff now but the young lady who was serving in the conservatory on Saturday afternoon was an absolute treasure. The food was all hot, beautifully cooked & presented. I've had many comments that it was the best lamb people had eaten.

The perfect day without any hiccups There isn’t enough space in this box to explain how perfect our big day was and that is all down the the fabulous staff at the parsonage, from the minute we booked with Louise she was there every step of the way even though I just have driven her crazy with my constant emails. On the actual day of the wedding we had the lovley Elaine who took care of us and nothing was too much trouble. She took every bit of stress off my shoulders and I can’t thank them enough, if you’re thinking about booking this place for your wedding then definitely do it you won’t regret it. We had the best day celebrating our wedding at the Parsonage. We had our ceremony at Escrick church and loved having a reception so close. Louise even surprised us with a bubbles at the church. Our guests were so relaxed not having to move far and the whole weekend ran very smoothly. Our canapés, meal and pizza were yummy and drinks were flowing. We loved also how the bar is in the same room as the dancefloor as everyone partied the night away. Thanks to Louise and the team who were really helpful all the way through, making the day and planning as stress free and fun as possible.

Superb Hotel Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds, all staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Spa facilities are excellent. Buffet breakfast was superb. Rooms were spacious and comfortable including a fan for those rare hot days. Ignore the negative reviews. Excellent transport links to York, bus stop right outside. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Perfect getaway Another super stay at The Parsonage. Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, dinner at The Fat Abbot, and the spa is fantastic. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Special mention for Christina who is lovely. We love this place and always look forward to our visits.

This our second visit to The Parsonage, and we were just as thrilled to stay there this time. It's in a beautiful setting with a well-maintained private, lawned garden to the side and rear. The rooms are of a good size and very clean and well presented. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The Fat Abbot serves lovely food and is so convenient. A real treat. We've already booked our stay in August 2025. The Parsonage is a great find. We wouldnt want to stay anywhere else.

Our day was amazing. Just perfect in every way. Samantha was fabulous with answering questions about our day, making additions and in accommodating dietary restrictions to make sure all our guests had a special day. She was in contact with suppliers we were using to ensure they had access to the venue the day before. The room was set up beautifully. Elaine (food and beverage manager) on the day was amazing. She was calm and did everything and more that we asked for. She made sure we were ok and all our guests. The bar and serving staff were friendly and professional. The Parsonage is a beautiful setting and the grounds and rooms were perfect. Guests could enjoy the grounds and the sunshine as well as the lovely conservatory seated area and the well stocked bar was very accessible. I can't thank the team enough. We loved our day and all our guests did too. I would happily recommend all engaged couples to go and see them. They will make your day magical.

Charlie and Tom literally 'tied the knot' in a hand tying ceremony at The Parsonage Hotel & Spa. They were already married in a small ceremony with just 10 guests during Covid but still wanted to celebrate properly with all their friends and family. The day was full of laughter and love, especially because of all the hand made touches. Thanks as ever to the team at The Parsonage who looked after everyone beautifully.
