The Old Ship is registered to hold civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships granted by the County Council. Our ceremony rooms can accommodate from 50 up to 120 guests and are charged separately than the packages as per the table below. Please remember that that you will need to contact the Registrar directly to arrange your preferred date and there would be a separate fee for the attendance of the registrar. You can book the Registrar up to a year in advance and are required to give notice to the Registrar of the district. It is also worth noting that once the date is planned, couples will secure their preferred venue at the same time to ensure they can get the dates and venue they like
