From initial discussions to service on the day I cannot fault the team nor the food. So many of our guests commented on the quality and portions of all three courses and the evening buffet. We settled on The Globe after visiting and falling in love with its quaint and quirky charms. The versatile space offered exactly what we needed and allowed us to customise and make it truly unique to us. Layla, Bill and team were so lovely to deal with, laid back but with all the answers, a reassuring combination in the midst of wedding planning! We also enjoyed some very good canapés and fizz to see in wedded life, thanks to Billy in the kitchen. The Globe helped create our vision for our wedding which was all we imagined and gave us all the support we needed. The Globe itself is a wonderfully flexible venue which provides amazing (seriously amazing) food, beautiful surroundings, a great dance/gig space and a really special and beautiful ceremony space. Hay itself is obviously blooming brilliant and our guests loved a chance to explore it! We stayed in the Globe's cottage next door which was cosy and super convenient. Perfect for wedding prep and storage. Also great that you don't have far to go at the end of the night!
