We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day. All of our guests couldn’t believe how amazing and grand the venue was, how smoothly the day ran and yet how relaxed the vibe was. Quite simply we would do it all again, exactly the same! Crumplebury will forever have our hearts 🤍 Crumplebury is truly stunning, the venue, the food, the atmosphere is all just incredible. - TThe Busbys03/10/2025I would have loved to be a guest at my wedding!!I would have loved to be a guest at my wedding!!When we toured crumblebury it ticked all the boxes - on site accommodation, inclusive hire, plenty of areas for guests to sit down and relax in comfort and style. Not to mention the food, drinks and staff were incredible, so we were so excited to find it was in our budget. Having staff available to help with the planning process made things so much easier for us and our vendors. The team were responsive whenever we had questions or were stress spiralling. The food was absolutely incredible - unfortunately our wedding nerves took away our appetites so we did miss out on eating a lot of our food, but the tastes we had were delicious. We didn’t want hungry guests at any time so in addition to canapés and the meal, we also had evening food - the sausage rolls and Cornish pasties were huge and delicious (so I’m told - unfortunately by the time I developed an appetite the staff had took the food away due to time restrictions on health and safety). The venue is stunning so it didn’t require much decoration, we were able to use an incredible florist without spending a fortune. Even when we made an error with our drinks timings for arriving guests (our fault!) my husband spoke to staff who swooped in and threw together some delicious welcome drinks for guests. We didn’t want to do a cake and asked to do a champagne tower instead. We were unfortunately told no due to health and safety, unless we supplied a tower structure - but this would have been quite expensive so we decided against it. We have seen photos of other couples doing champagne towers since then, which is disappointing for us but hopefully will give other couples reading this some optimism if they want to do one. Instead of a cake or champagne tower, we had a cocktail station where a staff member coached us on making mojitos in front of our guests, the guests all then had mojitos with us, it was a lot of fun. I would recommend this venue to anyone, I loved our wedding so much! We first saw the venue as a shell of a building when my husband and I were looking for our dream venue! Even as a building site, we knew that it was something truly special. At no point did we feel like we were on a ‘wedding conveyor belt’, we were so well looked after and we are so thankful that we could enjoy a whole weekend of wedding festivities with our nearest and dearest. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Crumplebury weddings are as unique and extraordinary as our couples. Whatever your dream, we've the space and the imagination to curate your perfect day. From magical candlelit ceremonies in the Art Gallery to grand celebrations in the Grand Hall, every one is different and memorable, and totally bespoke to you.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make your day personal, a reflection of you as a couple - your story, shared interests, family, personal style, favourite travels. This will make your day unique to you, rather than a wedding built on recycled ideas from other weddings. Don't be in a rush to make all the decisions straight away. Yes, securing your venue and key creative partners – your must-have florist, favourite photographer etc – is important, but don't jump into smaller details too soon. Let ideas flow for a while before you make the final call. Most importantly, enjoy the process. Think of your wedding planning as a journey. As with any journey, who you travel with and how you travel can be more important than the destination.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It's so difficult to choose one. We've seen so many, from live wedding painters to guest books full photographs of the bride and groom with their favourite people – such a wonderful way of sparking memories of old adventures, and looking forward to making new ones.

Breathtakingly beautiful, modern, unique, extraordinary, romantic.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many... Underneath the enormous cedar tree is a pretty spectacular spot. But then there are the 180-degree views from the Art Gallery balcony, across our farm fields with our herds of cattle and sheep. There are so many spaces to take incredible shots!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Our lips are sealed. This beautiful corner of Herefordshire – nestled as we are at the end of a mile-and-a-half long private track – is delightfully secluded. This privacy and exclusivity is increasingly important to our guests, high-profile and otherwise. And so of course we'd never breathe a word.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Crisp lamb belly, rosemary and garlic, although we love to see couples creating bespoke dishes with our amazing chefs as it can really add a personal touch to the experience.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We love seeing our chefs create magical Street Food dishes. Cooked outdoors in huge pans and woks over street-market-style tripod burners and then served indoors or out. It creates an additional piece of entertainment for guests whilst also being incredibly delicious!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Breathtakingly modern spaces set in 1,500 acres of private family estate, tucked away in a valley at the end of a private drive with huge skies, babbling brooks, farm fields and woodland.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are most proud of the service that we provide from the moment of booking all the way through to the special day, and after too. The team love being part of someone’s wedding as everyone is always so joyous, and it is lovely to have some input in to making those days happen. It is such an emotive and personal day and to be a part of that is truly special, and we love going above and beyond to make every wedding amazing and unique.
