With elegant parquet floors, sun-filled rooms and spacious south-facing gardens, our delightful pub can provide the perfect backdrop for any wedding style, whether it’s rustic, vintage, boho, romantic, modern, or something uniquely your own - we’ve brought them all to life.
Every couples special day looks different to the last, and we know that flexibility is key so that you can put your own stamp on your happily-ever-after party. Our experienced events team will be by your side to help make planning your big day a breeze. With decades of know-how, we’re here to make sure everything runs smoothly, so your day is even more magical than you both imagined.
There are no venue hire fees, as we operate on a minimum spend basis. All pre-ordered food and drink as well as your guests bar spend on the day, will all count towards your total minimum spend requirement. Weekdays and off-peak seasons carry a lower minimum spend, so if you are open to the idea of a weekday or winter wedding, be sure to let us know and we can send you a quote for all options to see what works best for you.

From start to finish the staff were amazing, Annamari was so helpful right from the start at helping us create our vision for the day. We chose to have a buffet and the food was delicious, all guests commented on how amazing it was. Annamari, Charlotte and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and nice during the whole process and on the special day. Food was delicious- we loved the canapes and everything they prepared for us. The garden was very pretty and comfortable, with many different spaces to enjoy throughout the day. We can’t recommend this place to celebrate a wedding reception or a special gathering enough. We celebrated our wedding reception here and everything was perfect! Annamari, Charlotte and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and nice during the whole process and on the special day. We used the West wing with huge garden and it felt like we had a place to ourselves. Annamari, Charlotte and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make the day truly perfect, which it was! Very flexible approach to our numerous requests and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was done exactly how we asked and the team was there throughout to support. Food was excellent, and tailored to specific requests. We had a wedding reception here earlier this month. We used the West wing with huge garden and it felt like we had a place to ourselves. Planning the event was so easy - they offered numerous meetings, food tastings, offered to cater for allergies/preferences, kept in contact via email and never left anything unanswered. On the night itself the staff were FANTASTIC - they were quick to serve the guests at the bar, the food came out quickly, glasses were collected regularly through the night. I had so many guests compliment the food and the venue.I hired The Garden Bar for my wedding reception party. Planning the event was so easy - they offered numerous meetings, food tastings, offered to cater for allergies/preferences, kept in contact via email and never left anything unanswered. On the night itself the staff were FANTASTIC - they were quick to serve the guests at the bar, the food came out quickly, glasses were collected regularly through the night. I had so many guests compliment the food and the venue.

The space was gorgeous with the fairylights and everything set up. The evening was completely smooth sailing and so well organised. Annamari is so reassuring and has a lot of knowledge and experience that was vital for our planning. She met with us multiple times and was so flexible to what we needed and wanted. The food at the buffet was absolutely delicious and the team were brilliant with our gluten free and vegan guests.The team are so warm, helpful and frankly amazing at their jobs. Everyone has been raving about the food! We had the BBQ in the day with a buffet brought out later and it went down a storm. The bar staff were incredible, and with a wedding of over 120 people (who were drinking a lot!) I didn’t see a queue at the bar, the staff were all over it! Amazing experience would highly recommend for your wedding!We had our wedding at the Garden Bar and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. Everyone has been raving about the food! The event manager Annamari helped us from start to finish create the day we wanted - nothing was too much trouble and she was incredibly relaxed about all of our requests. On the day the venue transformed into something Pinterest-worthy, we dropped off the decorations the day before and the morning of the wedding the team put them all up and made it look absolutely stunning.. Finally, the food was delicious, and everyone was well catered for. The drinks kept flowing all day thanks to the friendly bar staff and everyone was very very happy.. The events manager was brilliant and helped with every aspect of the wedding, the food was delicious and the bar team did a wonderful job of keeping glasses topped up. We were very lucky with the weather, but we feel that even if it hadn’t been hot and sunny, we would still have had an wonderful day. We had an absolutely fantastic evening. Every one of our guests mentioned how joyful, informal & relaxed it was and that was largely down to Annamari and her team. They were flexible and helpful around our putting up our decorations, and food choices, and just thoughtful and lovely throughout the day. The food was fantastically tasty - lamb rogan josh - and everyone complimented it. Annamari was helpful with suggestions in the meetings we had beforehand, and very well organised, and Lucia was an absolute sweetheart, and nothing was too much trouble for her. The price really was very reasonable too for the service, food and venue.
