Only took us 26 years but our New Years Eve wedding at the Blacksmiths was just perfect ! the weather stayed dry - the staff were amazing and the venue was stunning ! You helped very stressed bride stay calm and enjoy her day !

We married on the 31 August 2023 after 15 years together We had a small party of 16 plus our two border collies. Our day was amazing from start to finish. We had Alan Marshall pipe us in and out. Being Welsh he piped us out to the Welsh national anthem. He was amazing. We also had the lovely Bill Black take our pictures. We knew we wanted to get married at Gretna Green after attending a wedding here 10 years ago. Such a magical and special place for us. What an amazing team you all are ❤️❤️

Married my husband on 4th April 24, our experience was everything we wanted and more! Staff were fantastic, and the rain held off! Gretna Green Famous Blacksmiths Shop will always hold a special place in our hearts 💕

We loved it and it did not feel rushed and everyone made me feel special and the registrar was so nice, he made the day the best. We did not have a good year previously husband was in a tragic accident so we decided to go for it and did not tell anyone. I just surprised all family & friends with homemade Fudge delivered to them on the day, they loved it x Gretna Green 💚 is a very special place x

My husband and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary on the 4th of March 2023 by renewing our vows over the anvil at the Blacksmiths Shop witnessed by 40 guests. Graeme Murray did such a lovely personal service for us and Alan Marshall piped us in and out. Also used horse and carriage by Tartan Carriages who were absolutely brilliant. It was a perfect weekend.

Best thing we ever done was get married at Gretna Green in Hogmanay 2021 My little dog walked me down the aisle I always recommend Gretna Green friends and family looking to get married. It was always a place I loved when we stopped there travelling to and from England for holiday's and I always knew it was special which is why as soon as we were engaged I knew I wanted a small wedding at Gretna Green.

We got married here the 2nd march this year, the most beautiful wedding day. It was everything I wanted it to be xx

Just coming up to our first anniversary after getting married elopement style in the Blacksmiths shop. It was a wet and windy morning and then the rain dried up just in time for us! The staff couldn’t have been nicer and between Raymond and Ewan Cannon we have some beautiful photographs to cherish from that day. Gretna Green Famous Blacksmiths Shop will always be a very special place for Jennifer Crosbie-Barrie and I 🥰

We married February this year just the two of us our minister Graeme Murray two witnesses and our lovely photographer Bill Black Photography was perfect day for us and on our 20th anniversary ❤️❤️❤️

We were married in the Original Blacksmith Old Smithy in May 2023 - the staff were amazing and made our day and us feel very social indeed - Graeme Murray was our minister and the photographer was Bill Black - we also had Alan the piper which made it even more memorable. Thank you to everyone and all the staff at Smiths Hotel who looked after us so well. Always a special place for us and love stopping off on the way up to Scotland to watch the weddings.
