GG's Yard

Beautiful location and a great place to hold a special occasion. The hillside snugs were lovely and had everything we needed and more for our short stay. Very welcoming at both Gather and GG's Yard. Food and service were excellent on both nights. Highly recommended.

What a venue! I absolutely loved shooting this wedding at GG's Yard, and the setting was totally stunning. There's so much variety over a small distance, and no matter the weather it looks amazing. The guests had a great time, and having so many places to stay all within the grounds just made everything so easy.

We attended a family wedding here. The venue is beautiful, service second to none. The food was delicious even though I had the dairy free version due to allergies. Jo the wedding planner has such an eye to detail and is there with a smile sorting out your every need.

Just visited ,its been booked for a family wedding and can see why the bride and groom chose this venue ,absolutely gorgeous....so looking forward to the wedding ,obviously we know nothing about the rooms etc. But the location speaks for itself. everything totally spotlessly clean 5 star hotel toilets and bar area ....lovely....

GG's yard was the wedding venue of dreams. Words can’t express how grateful and happy we are to have found them as a venue. Every second of the day was perfection for us. Jackie and Vicki have been superstars from day one with communication, knowledge and helping with anything. When we first came to the venue, we were already blown away by the views but it was our easiest decision made. It was great being shown around, the whole feel of the venue - it gave us the exact setting we wanted to experience on the day. A relaxed but grand feel, a place and where all our nearest and dearest would feel like the hours of driving are more than worth it. It’s such a beautiful place and we appreciate how much love Vicki & Duncan have poured into all the details. I have to give my heartfelt thanks to Zoe & Jo. Zoe has been so on point with emails, answering all the most random questions I asked (as I did all the DIY décor, I needed to know even the most trivial of details) nothing was ever too much or silly, and the responses were always so prompt - so reassuring to have an answer so quickly so I never needed to panic! Jo was our on-the-day co-ordinator and she was just exactly who we needed to support us during the hustle and bustle of setting up the rooms and the wedding day itself. Having someone with her experience and joy, she knew exactly what to do and where to put things for maximum effect. I loved that throughout the wedding, all the suggestions she made were just perfection! How rare is it to have someone who’s on top of everything while executing it flawlessly. She was always wherever we needed her and made it so that I had no stresses throughout, it was more than I could have ever hoped for! The level of service you all offer was just incredible and the best I’ve ever encountered (and of course Pudge loved the fussings over her 😂) It not only lived up but exceeded expectation, and we’ve come away from our stay on cloud nine. Wouldn’t have changed a single thing and that’s all down to everyone at Laggan/GG's Yard making it an incredible day. The main feedback we’ve had is that this is the best wedding people have every been to by a long shot! That’s huge considering that’s from all over England and Scottish side! They keep saying that everything was just pure perfection: from the service, the snugs, the food and drink were exceptional, layout of the venue was brilliant and so many layers to uncover throughout the day. We’re so glad that the weather was so gorgeous for us the whole time we were there - it just made it that much more special. A huge thank you guys again and we will continue to sing your praises everywhere! Rooms: Snugs were incredible. High Haven Room was beautiful - Hot tub was private and fantastic Food & drinks: Delicious food in both GG's yard and Gather. Drinks reasonably priced - cocktails delicious!

Dear Vicki, Jackie, Alistair and Jamie, What can we say or how can we thank you enough for making our special day so magical. Jim and I can't thank you enough for giving Jenna and Fraser the most memorable and best day ever on their wedding day. The day was faultless from start to finish! Compliments to your chefs the food was exceptional as was the service provided by all the staff. So professionally trained, you should be very proud of them and them of themselves.

We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us in the planning and execution of our wedding weekend. We had an unforgettable wedding. GG's Yard: the perfect venue! The whole place was enchanting, welcoming and full of happy guests. You helped create the warm, cosy atmosphere we hoped for. From day 1 we know we were in safe hands with you.
