Enterkine Country House & Resort is a privately owned, luxury four star country house hotel in the heart of Ayrshire, minutes from Prestwick Airport and only 35 minutes from Glasgow offering the very best in luxury accommodation, fine dining and stunning views, and set within 350 acre Country Estate. Recently refurbished in contemporary style, the original house was built in the late 1930’s to the highest specification by Mr William S Houston, a Scot, who returned from Canada. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did for us at our wedding, you went above and beyond. Now that we are back to reality we just wanted to send you guys a little email of gratitude. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more. Shannon was outstanding, from helping us plan our day, answering any questions we had, to helping us do our final touches on the day and ensuring everything went to plan. I did not have any doubts or nerves on that morning as I knew we were in very capable hands. We are so glad we chose to have our wedding day at your resort!Now that we are back to reality we just wanted to send you guys a little email of gratitude. Most Amazing WeddingMost Amazing Wedding
My husband and I truly had the most amazing wedding. It was everything I dreamed off and more. I could not recommend Enterkine highly, there just isn’t enough time to go through everything. From the moment we booked nothing was an issue, emails replied to rapidly, even questions that I had already asked, changes to rooms, getting all my bridesmaids to stay the night before with added beds, literally nothing was an issue.My husband and I truly had the most amazing wedding. It was everything I dreamed off and more. I could not recommend Enterkine highly, there just isn’t enough time to go through everything. From the moment we booked nothing was an issue, emails replied to rapidly, even questions that I had already asked, changes to rooms, getting all my bridesmaids to stay the night before with added beds, literally nothing was an issue.

Enterkine is a beautiful venue for a wedding. The venue room is absolutely gorgeous, with it's exposed beams, massive windows to a terrace with a stunning view and plenty of room for dancing and socializing. At one point we had our entire party of 50 people dancing a waltz (or attempting to dance with our collective lack of coordination) all within just 1/3 of the room! More than just the venue, the staff is also incredible. Over the last year I have messaged the staff countless number of times about details of the venue, food and drinks (provided at the venue) and accomodation for our guests. All of my questions have been quickly and patiently answered, sometimes multiple times (as I lost previous messages in a whirlwind of emails). They were also very patient when I had to change certain details of the wedding at the last moment. On the day of the wedding, everyone was very well organized, making sure that everything went smoothly, thanks to which our big day was exactly how we imagined it. We couldn't have asked for anything to go better. Finally the accomodation, my husband and I stayed at 3 different types of accomodation in the 2 nights that we spent at the Resort - the Byre, Enterkine View (bridal suite) and Bluebell lodge. Very poor customer service Very poor customer service
My Fiancé and I had booked a viewing at Enterkine House with the possibility of booking our wedding. The setting and venue were stunning, however we turned up 5 minutes ahead of our appointment time and were completely ignored by the staff. We were told 3 times that they would be with us in “two minutes”. A couple who arrived after us were approached first and again we were left to wait. No apology about running late, no offer of a drink; simply left in reception where staff avoided eye contact with us. After 40 minutes we decided to get up and leave as there were another 2 couples also waiting to be attended to. As we started to leave, we were very quickly told they were “running late” and they pleaded to take 2 minutes to show us around. Very disappointed as we were keen to explore this venue, but couldn’t take the risk of similar service on the most special day of our lives. “We had the most amazing day thanks to everyone at the resort, everything ran so smoothly and you were always on hand to help with anything we needed. We got married on 4th August 2023 and it was just a beautiful day from start to finish. We received so many compliments from our guests around the food as they said it was one of the best wedding meals they have ever had, the venue itself as everyone said it was absolutely stunning and was so lovely to be able to go out onto the balcony as well.“We had the most amazing day thanks to everyone at the resort, everything ran so smoothly and you were always on hand to help with anything we needed. Owen and I got married at Enterkine on the 16th November 2023. We would just love to say thank you so much to all the staff on our wedding day. Especially to Sharon that was just amazing during the planning of the wedding and especially the day of. Everything went so smoothly and all the guests were taken care of. My husband & I got married here on 7th August 2023. What a beautiful venue and it provided us with the most perfect & dreamiest day we could have imagined. Every single staff member went above & beyond, I can’t fault the venue for anything as they were fantastic. From the rooms, the food, prep, the running of the day, every single person sang the staffs praises! I would like to mention our wedding coordinator Sharon, who was simply incredible.
