Kinmount House is perfect for the couple that wants it all.
With views over the stunning Solway Firth, Kinmount House has its own 2 private lakes, countryside walks, a short drive or walk to the beach, and warm, modern reception venues. We also have accommodation for up to 44 guests and no issues with noise, in fact, the noisier the better and are more than happy to arrange a late night licence. We have 7 different ceremony locations around the estate for weddings of every size, so get in touch to have a look around!

We couldn't bring a lot in our suitcase, but the venue doesn't need it because it's so beautiful on its own. They were even so kind enough to lend us the little things we were missing, like reserved signs and cheese cloths. The day was perfect thanks to the Kinmount staff! Everything went so smoothly! They made sure our day was flawless , from the Croft the time before to the wedding day. Kinmount house fitted our wedding party and family perfectly. We love all our weddings at Kinmount House, and every one is totally unique, but the best wedding had Bongo Bingo, Smoke Flares and the whole Kinmount Team were dancing into the night with the Happy Couple!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't leave things to the last minute, but also don't do everything at once: the wedding planning process is exciting, so spreading it out ensures the excitement lingers until the big day. We collaborate on your wedding through Aisle Planner to make sure nothing gets lost!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A few couples have had places set for relatives who couldn't be at the wedding - a poignant touch.

Spectacular, unique, exclusive, fun and absolutely bloomin' amazing!
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are lots of fabulous spots, but we love the 17th century Victorian Bathing House overlooking the South Lake. You can even get to it by boat aboard 'The Good Life'!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had a 'knockout' 3 day bender with a certain pro athlete... but we never kiss and tell ;)
What’s your favourite canapé?
When it comes to food at Kinmount, it is always unusual and tasty (thanks Chef!) but we LOVE our mini tacos!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
There are lots of different options for evening food, but you can never go wrong with homemade pizzas!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
We never have two weddings on the trot, so our couples have the whole estate to themselves for the day!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are so proud of how far we have come in 3 short years, hosting over 100 weddings a year but it wouldn't be possible without our extraordinary team - always fun, sometimes witty and never rude!
