The Byre at Inchyra

We got married on Friday 6th September at the Byre at Inchyra and it honestly was the most incredible weekend of our lives. As a blank canvas venue I think you need to have a vision in mind for what you want to create and what you want for your wedding. For our wedding we wanted lots of colour and life and that’s exactly what we got. The grounds are just incredible. We were lucky enough to get married in the walled garden and the sun was shining. We then had our drinks reception up outside the byre then dinner, drinks and dancing inside. The next day we invited everyone back to the venue and hired their marquee which we put on the camping lawn and hosted a hog roast there with my dad and brother playing guitars round the campfire at night time which everyone has raved about. The manager Tim was onsite to help with anything we needed and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for him. Our wedding weekend would not have been the same without his laid back and calm nature. The one thing I would say is the venue is not cheap and when you add on all the additionals it does get expensive so you need to be prepared to spend money. If you’re looking for a laid back, blank canvas venue with lots of character then definitely visit the Byre at Inchyra - you won’t regret it.

Quite simply, it was the most perfect, magical day that we could ever have hoped and planned for! Tim, Jake and the Byre team were fantastic, so helpful and gave us quick feedback on all our questions in the lead up to the wedding and offered support and suggestions wherever possible. Their relaxed approach to the day always put us at ease and helped relieve some of that wedding stress! All their recommended suppliers were amazing, and knew the Byre so well that the day ran seamlessly without a hitch. The Byre itself is beautiful and all our guests commented on what a wonderful venue it was. We were lucky to be married in the gardens and we're so glad the weather held out for us as the photos turned out stunning in the walled garden!

Wow this venue is just phenomenal the staff are amazing and so helpful we had Tim on the day and nothing was too much trouble, our florist forgot our flower girl basket and he went and picked flowers out of the garden for us and let us use one of their baskets on the day, we had some last minute on the day changed due to weather since the sun came out and nothing was too much to ask. Set up day the staff were fantastic as well always available to help set up with things needing put on walls etc, would highly recommend The Byre at Inchyra for any bride looking for a barn style venue, would do it all again in a heartbeat

Just want to say thank you for how much Tim and his team did for us! The level of attention to detail was amazing. We were not blessed with great weather the week leading up to the wedding but the morning of the wedding it was looking liked it’d be a beautiful day. So last minute they helped us set up the walled garden for our ceremony and even put extra gravel down on the path up to the garden to keep everyone dry and not muddy. They really help in any way they can anything you need just ask. Tim was fantastic throughout with communication and an ever calming a reassuring presence throughout the building up and during the day. The venue was beautiful and I can not recommend enough. The walled gardens are especially beautiful and if you get chance do have your ceremony outside! Perfect setting and such a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. The walk to the garden is a relaxed 5-8 min walk and there is a road to it, where people can take there cars up to it, or to transport the bride/bridesmaids/elderly relatives and there is disabled access if needed. The Byre itself is beautiful and presents the perfect base to build your ideal perfect wedding! Couldn’t be happier with choosing the Byre! Thank you to all the staff including the bar staff who helped us out a lot throughout the day too.

Tim was fantastic and so helpful, him and his staff couldn’t have done enough for us, the weather was looking bad and it was a bit muddy on the walk up to the walled garden, but last minute the sun came out and Tim and the team helped put more gravel in the muddy areas to help keep everyone’s feet dry! It’s this level of small details they pay so much attention to and are on hand through out the day and night that help make the day care free. Tim is really good at communication throughout and a calming influence throughout again helping the day run so smoothly! The venue is simply beautiful and if you can do get married in the walled gardens it’s so private, peaceful and beautiful! You can take your car down to transport bride, older relatives, brides maids so not to worry. The flowers are beautiful and help create a perfect backdrop for photos. A perfect setting for an outdoor wedding with great indoor facilities too incase the weather is wet! Couldn’t recommend the venue enough! It made our wedding so special, magical and something we’ll remember forever. Everyone commented how beautiful the place was. We couldn't have gotten more lucky with the weather or the greenery for our special day. The apple blossoms and bluebells were out and we had the ceremony in walled garden , which added a few more degrees to the sun trap. The Byre's incredible staff made everything easy for us, and my wife and I had a stress-free day that went off without a hitch :D I cannot recommend the Byre at Inchyra enough! <3

We are on cloud 9 after our wedding weekend at the Byre at Inchyra. We had the most beautiful weekend froms start to finish and feel incredibly lucky. The Inchyra team are incredibly experienced in the wedding business. They provided a great amount of support from start to finish, providing prompt responses to the plethora of questions we had throughout the planning which completely put us at ease. Over the wedding weekend and all throughout the wedding day we had Jake who ran the show (from behind the scenes). He was an absolute superstar, and we are so very grateful for all the running around and organising he did over the weekend. He truly went above and beyond. Everything went so smoothly and so much of that was because of him. Inchyra truly have the most spectacular venue and most amazing team and we feel very lucky that we got the pleasure of hosting our wedding there. We can't wait to visit again for a concert and experience the beutiful venue again. Thanks for everything Inchyra team!

When we were looking for a wedding venue and came across the Byre and Inchyra we fell in love. After speaking with Tim we knew 100% it would be the location we get married. Tim and the staff at Inchyra from the booking/planning phase to the wedding day were absolutely amazing. Any questions we had they were able to answer and gave us loads of helpful tips throughout our process to make our wedding day the best it could be. The online wedding handbook from Inchyra was an amazing help for us. We have never been involved with planning a wedding and this made the process very easy. It had a list of recommended vendors and to say the vendors we picked were amazing would be an understatement. Due to them having this list all the vendors knew the venue like the back of their hand, so it all ran so smoothly with Tim and staff on hand to help as well. The venue has everything you need for a wedding which makes life easy and if they don’t I’m Tim can course and help.

The Byre at Inchyra was our dream venue and how lucky we were to be able to have our day there. From beginning to end it was an excellent experience with the team and the Byre. The wedding handbook that is given to you on your event portal was so helpful for us to research our suppliers and give us an idea of what was out there. We actually found all of our suppliers through the handbook and they were all excellent. Tim was always on hand to answer any questions for us and made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much. The team is all very experienced and a special mention to Jake too for helping us run our wedding on the day and keeping us all calm and collected. The Byre is an outstanding venue allowing all to customise your day exactly the way you want and it’s so easy to order the needed decoration and equipment. We also opted to stay in the cottages for the weekend and one thing I absolutely loved was that you could order the interior decoration such as the curtains. The cottages are country but modern, warm and welcoming. We were even lucky enough to get a visit from the owners chocolate lab. I’d highly recommend staying on site, it was all so easy and no need to organise transport to and from the venue before and after. It’s a stunning venue, amazing team and our day was exactly what we could’ve hoped for and more.

Tim, James, Caroline, you gave us the best day we could have possibly hoped for. The venue was stunning! No ask was too great of Tim, he did everything with a smile and quick wit. The facilities were spot on, the extras were beyond what we had hoped for and every single guest without exception said how amazing the venue was. Thank you!
