The Byre at Inchyra

We understand that no two couples are the same and that’s why no two weddings should be the same. Weddings at Inchyra are exclusive — there will be nothing else happening here for the duration of your wedding and your wedding is the centre of our attention. You will be able to take advantage of the endless options that we have available to help you bring your dreams to reality, from an outside ceremony to cosy on-site accommodation to our Decorating Store to partying through the night — at Inchyra pretty much anything is a possibility. The Byre itself is a wonderfully picturesque converted cattle barn, bursting with original features. And although it is essentially a big square space, different areas and levels within mean that it is exceptionally flexible and will happily accommodate weddings from 50 to 160 people, with the ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast and party all comfortably catered for. The Byre boasts original stonework walls and exposed wooden beams and the easily accessible roof beams mean that it is easy to hang decorations giving a wealth of stunning possibilities for flowers, foliage and lighting. The intimate and chapel-like Stable Room can seat up to 110 guests to see you say ‘I do’, enveloped in the wooden beams and old brick and stone walls of the original stables. Or, if you have more guests, you can let your imagination run riot in the Lower Byre area where a wealth of possible settings are available for larger ceremonies. Or maybe take the ceremony outside to one of the many options we can offer - perhaps on the Byre Lawn, maybe the sweeping lawn in front of Inchyra House itself, or the magical Walled Garden with the fabulously romantic Apple Tree Aisle.
