Where’s the best photo spot at Fingask Castle?
There are so many beautiful areas inside the castle, around the gardens and across the wider estate, it's impossible to choose just one. We have acres of wooded areas filled with beautiful old redwood trees and meandering pathways. The Kings Walk is a centuries old row of trees that channels the length of the Castle lawn. We have fountains, springs, waterfalls and wishing wells. Our surrealist garden is filled with statues, marble orbs and not to mention our famous topiary. Your photographer will be spoiled for choice!

Bonnie Prince Charlie is said to have stayed in the castle.
What is Fingask Castle most unique feature?
Fingask is home to Scotland’s surrealist garden: spectacular topiary staggers across the lawn bumping into stone globes, marble balls, statues and a figure of Alice (in Wonderland). Other literary and historical characters are scattered among the pleasure gardens first laid out in the 17th c. Both Bonnie Prince Charlie and his father are said to have approached the castle up the long yew avenue, known as the King’s Walk.
