The Southeast-facing Ballroom offers a spectacular setting for your Wedding Breakfast, with sweeping vistas across the Deer Park and rolling countryside beyond. Dance the night away in our Grand Hall, making a spectacular entrance down our famous staircase to cut your wedding cake.

Fasque boasts its own exclusive-use bar, an intimate, social space for you and your guests to enjoy. From the moment we first visited, we knew this venue was special, but seeing it come to life on our wedding day was something else entirely. The venue itself is absolutely lovely, and our guests who stayed with us loved the grandeur of the bathrooms and large bedrooms. The historic building and beautiful grounds create such an elegant and romantic atmosphere. The ceremony space was a big selling point for us, with the grand archway, staircase, and incredible floral arrangements framing the moment perfectly. It felt intimate yet grand at the same time, a good size for our 74 guests and the natural light made everything feel warm and joyful. Outside, the gardens and surrounding landscape were beautiful. You feel in the middle of nature looking out at the deer. The setting gave us the most beautiful backdrop for our photos, whether walking across the lawns, under the trees, or in front of the stunning building itself. Every corner of the venue felt picturesque and thoughtfully maintained. The reception space was equally impressive. The long tables, soft décor, and elegant room created such a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere for dinner and celebrations. Being able to have our guests on one large U shaped table make our vision of a big dinner party come to life. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the wedding was. We could genuinely see everyone around us loving the experience and the staff ensured that the day flowed seamlessly and that we were extremely well looked after. We truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives. For two women, in todays current climate, nerves and uncertainty are magnified when selecting the perfect wedding venue. However from the moment we walked into the inviting warmth of the Grand Hall with the unique fairytale spiral staircases and Fleetwood Mac playing softly at just the right volume, we knew Fasque was the exact venue for us. This affirmation became concrete when lovely Brooke sat us down with tunnocks teacakes and fizz and asked us, "tell me about your dream wedding day". Other venues can perhaps convey an air of "look at how big our venue is" but this was certainly not the case at Fasque - it was made clear that we were the priority. Fasque combines Scottish castle majesty and spectacle with a true friendly, warm, modern heart - from the funky brightness of the bar, to the gorgeous standalone baths, to the vibrancy of the purple velvet and oranges of the library. Brooke and the team at Fasque are some of the most authentic easy-going humble and kindest people in the Aberdeenshire wedding industry. Nothing was "too much". From agreeing a complex bridal party procession to queuing specific music for certain parts of the day to encouraging napkin waving at a surprise saxophone entrance during the meal, they were happy to ensure every unusual and "out there" desire was met. They remained calm when we naturally got stressed (one bridezilla is one thing, let alone 2!) and provided the right kind of reassurance we needed. And the food! Unreal. The cooked breakfasts especially. Our guests have commented how amazing the venue, staff, food, and music was. You will be made to feel so special throughout your whole wedding planning process, and even more so during your wedding day. You will make friends for life with staff who look after you from the moment you meet them! Where do we even begin trying to put our amazing experience into words? From our first viewing at Fasque, we knew straight away that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. Not only were we blown away by the beautiful venue, but also by the kindness and warmth of their staff. When we first met with our wedding coordinator, Brooke, she took her time to show us around Fasque and get to know us as a couple. Throughout the 18 months of planning, Brooke was always there for us and worked so hard to ensure that we had the perfect day. She made us feel like we were the only couple getting married! She put so much time and effort into our wedding, we cannot thank her enough. On Friday, the day before our wedding - We arrived early to set up our table decorations. We were introduced to members of staff that were working “behind the scenes” during our wedding weekend and every single one of them was just as friendly and helpful as Brooke. As our friends and family started to arrive, they were greeted by these staff members and like us, were blown away by the warm welcome they received. Everybody commented on how professional staff were, and how nothing seemed too much to ask. Each member of staff wanted to go above and beyond to ensure we were all happy. A special mention to Phil, who was lovely and always dressed to the 9s all weekend in his kilt, and helping where he could. We were lucky enough during our weekend that the sun was shining. We had planned to have a BBQ with our guests on Friday, which was catered by the Chefs. WOW! The food was absolutely delicious and there was so much of it that we could’ve eaten all night. Staff were always checking in and making sure that everything was going okay. After Brooke left for the evening, Chris, looked after us so well! He was just fantastic at making sure everything ran smoothly and was so friendly. On the morning of our wedding, myself, my bridesmaids and our mums were all in the powder room from 06:15 starting to get ready. Shortly after hair and make up started, we were greeted by Lynne and Lucy who could not have done more for us. They were constantly checking in on us, making sure we had plenty of tea and coffee (Or prosecco!) and bringing us a gorgeous fruit platter and breakfast prepared again by the amazing Chefs. Katy was also another member of staff who was there checking in on us, making sure we were having a lovely wedding morning. Behind the scenes, I’m sure there were many more members of staff who were working just as hard to ensure everything was off to a good start on our special day. Lynne also helped the boys when they had a bit of a disaster with one of their flowers in their button hole snapping. Ofcourse, it had to be the Grooms! Brooke continued to be there for us, keeping us on schedule and helping us stay calm during all the madness! She was there for our mums as they walked down the aisle first, and remained with our bridal party until we all made our way down the aisle into our ceremony. Once our ceremony was over, we took a couple of minutes to ourselves to soak in everything that just happened. We were greeted with two glasses of fizz by Brooke and it felt like we were just seeing one of our friends! During our drinks reception, we had requested a grazing table instead of canapés as this felt more “us”. We had sent Brooke inspiration pictures which she they showed the Chefs. As the table was being brought out, we could not believe it. They had exceeded our expectations and more once again. The food was absolutely delicious and there was so much of it! Our guests were amazed by how beautiful the grazing table looked and all said it was absolutely delicious. They were so grateful to be able to go up more than once or twice to get some food! A massive thank you to the Chefs!! The same can be said for our Wedding Breakfast. From starter to dessert, the food was absolutely divine and guests were so complimentary of it. We really appreciate all the hard work that not the Chefs put in to making the food, but also to each and every member of staff who so professionally served us and our guests. We cannot thank you enough! Our evening ended with a lovely band who were set up downstairs. One of the things that we liked about Fasque from the beginning was that there was no “cross over” between where you have your ceremony and your wedding breakfast, meaning we did not have to ask guests to leave a room for a certain length of time for the room to be turned over. Our evening was held in the same room we had our ceremony in, but it felt like a completely different vibe - Party time! Our guests worked each member of bar staff very hard keeping them busy all night, but the service was not affected at all. Guests were served their drinks quickly, and then could enjoy a comfy seat around the newly refurbished bar. We honestly did not want our night to end! When it did, some guests staying over were able to stay up if they wished and a lot of them ended up in one of the library’s playing pool. On Sunday morning, we all had another delicious breakfast catered for by the Chefs. It was certainly needed at this point! Again, we were looked after by Lynne and Lucy alongside many other members of staff that I never quite caught their name but would like to thank them too. Saying goodbye to Brooke and all the other staff was difficult! Having been in contact with Brooke constantly for the last 18 months, it feels so sad that we will not have the same excuse now! We had the most amazing wedding weekend ever and we cannot begin to thank each and every member of staff enough. You are all amazing at what you do and made us feel so special throughout our weekend.
