Tewinbury

We could not be happier that we chose Tewinbury for our wedding this August (2024). It was the first and only venue we saw, and we fell in love with it instantly; it had everything we were looking for and we needed to look no further. We're so glad we didn't; Tewinbury was the most gorgeous, perfect venue for the wedding we envisioned. They were able to work with our budget to make everything we wanted possible, and we had many visits there in the year leading up to it to make sure everything was in place - we were never denied a meeting which really helped us feel at ease, especially when our planner left n the lead up to the wedding. We had three days at Tewinbury in total, so our family and friends were able to enjoy the day before and after with us, and this really made the experience extra special, especially as the rooms are so gorgeous, and so convenient for the barn. We got married in the Tythe Barn, which was just what we wanted, and had our drinks reception on the terrace. Luckily the weather as great so we were able to use the terrace and alongside the river throughout the event which was so lovely. Our co-ordinator Charlotte was an absolute dream on the day - calm, organised, and made sure every element of the wedding was implemented to absolute perfection. Everything ran completely smoothly, looked absolutely beautiful, and I - a total control freak - managed to completely relinquish control as I felt in such safe hands. We chose a buffet for our evening meal and everyone has commented on how lovely the food was, as were the canapés, and there was plenty of drink to go round. We are so grateful to Charlotte and her team, and the absolutely gorgeous venue that is Tewinbury, for the magical wedding of our dreams. We couldn't have wished for more.

Tewinbury was the only venue we viewed and fell in love with it straight away, and booked! The barn and grounds are gorgeous and the venue did absolutely everything they could to ensure we had the most perfect day. The staff were brilliant, the venue is fantastic - it's the perfect place to have your wedding.

The staff at Tewin Bury were amazing! We booked roughly a year in advance of the wedding date and they kept in touch at regular intervals to let us know what was needed and what they could do to help. Ally and Sam were super helpful in organising the entire day and made us feel very much at ease, and Katka was amazing on the day and helped usher guests to where they needed to go and made sure the whole day went without any issues. The venue was also beautiful and our day felt intimate and personal, just as we had wanted. Highly recommend this venue and we will absolutely be back just to soak in the general beauty of the venue and the surrounding lands.

I wholeheartedly recommend Tewinbury for a wedding. We had the most perfect day there. The team were fantastic and responsive in the planning and lead up to the wedding and on the day they were just amazing. All of our guests commented on how great the team were and how well everything flowed and ran. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. I got married in the Tythe Barn and it was so beautiful. There are so many great photo spots as well throughout the grounds. The food was amazing, the barn looked beautiful and overall we just had the most amazing day. It was absolutely perfect and I will remember it forever. Thank you so much to the team.

I was initially little hesitant and nervous after booking Tewin Bury Farm for our wedding last month due to the limited contact we had in the early stages (booked with 2 years to go). This was a totally unnecessary hesitation as once we began liaising with the weddings and event team nothing was too small or much for them. They respond to all queries promptly and answer the questions very clearly. They supported us with all decisions and with where things would work best on the day i.e. games/photo booth/cards etc. The on the day team are fabulous. I barely saw our coordinator once I walked down the aisle, the day ran soo smoothly and was just spectacular. We really couldn't have asked for a better day. The coordinators handled basically everything with the suppliers and guests throughout the day that meant there was very little for us to do or stress about which let us just enjoy every moment. My family members that spoken to the coordinators said they were so friendly and amazing. The room turn around from ceremony to dinner and then reception was something I was anxious about because it was one of the few things I had no control over (happens whilst you have photos done) but the tables looked exactly as I had pictured and everything was where it was suppose to be. The food has been praised by so many guests for the fantastic presentation and taste. The food came out like a military operation definitely a well oiled system, everyone was eating each course at the same time and the clear up was just as quick. Highly recommend booking your wedding day here.

Charlotte and the rest of the team were really helpful, friendly and organised. The day ran so smoothly that it was a stress free day for James and I. The venue looked more beautiful than we could ever have imagined, there were lots of lovely finishing touches we didn't expect. The food was OUTSTANDING and all options (vegan, gluten free etc.) were delicious. Literally every guest raved about the food. The bar staff were fun and friendly and coped well with how busy it was. I just wanted to compliment you & the Tewinbury staff for the professional service you provided yesterday. It all went smoothly as we felt 6 months of pressure building up to the event instantly disappear! Phoebe managed the day beautifully and everyone complimented the meal. A final mention and thank you for the evening/night duty manager who was very supportive of Kates daughter who wasn’t feeling well.
