We specialise in intimate ceremonies for up to 50 people in our licenced Georgian drawing room. With dining in Georgian surroundings or, for smaller parties, our original Tudor dining room. For larger parties, a marquee on our croquet lawn can accommodate up to 100+. We offer the house, gardens and wider estate on an exclusive use basis. We have two fourposter Georgian bedrooms with splendid marble en suite bathrooms and a further four en suite bedrooms in the original Tudor house. We are here to cater for your every need, whether that’s a leisurely long weekend or a single day of celebration, Stone House provides the perfect environment for your perfect day.
Working with quality local suppliers, we provide bespoke food and drink solutions to suit all styles and budgets. For larger numbers, buffet catering is available and the croquet lawn is perfect for a marquee and other outside facilities. Our wedding co-ordinator, who is also something of a wine & food expert, will be delighted to put together a complete wedding package at an all inclusive price, but is equally happy to just supply the venue and work with you and your own suppliers.
Formal three or four course wedding breakfast, buffet style catering, grazing boards or BBQ, with day before or day after facilities and catering, if you want to extend the celebration. Special requests ? We'll do our absolute best. Most things are possible on the Stone House Country Estate.
The house, gardens and parkland also offer infinite photo opportunities. Tudor inside and out, Georgian drawing room and library, stunning, sweeping galleried stair case, four poster bedrooms. Beautiful high weald views, lake, walled kitchen garden, orchards, a lime walk and plenty of wild areas.
If you are looking for a classic, traditional, slightly eccentric, English country estate wedding, you will fall in love with Stone House. We've been here for over 500 years, owned by the same family since the first stone was laid in 1495!
