Michael was by far the most helpful person we contacted when trying to fine a venue in central Manchester. We met up to discuss menus, music, dressing of the room and even a projector slide show as we had got married abroad a few weeks earlier. Michael inspired confidence immediately and delivered a fantastic wedding reception. The dressing of the table, the room with candles and fresh flowers was superb. The food was amazing and our guests were blown away with everything, from the greeting at the door on arrival to the last dance of the evening. The room was dressed stunningly, food, and service from staff was to a very high standard. As a family we could not of asked for a more perfect day. Michael and his staff worked so very hard to make our daughters and son-inlaw wedding day just perfect. Thank you so very much Debbie Im attaching a photo of Mr & Mrs Purvis on their special day. There was no problem too big or small for them to sort. The venue was truly spectacular, and Michael went above and beyond to ensure it was an amazing experience. The location was absolutely perfect and so central in Manchester. We thought that as we weren't going to have a large wedding, we just wanted to celebrate with our friends and family, that it would be difficult to find somewhere, but they managed to make all 40 of our guests welcome and looked after. The food by Rod the Chef was amazing and Rod took on board all of our comments on what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. Even with some of the fussy eaters. We thought the red carpet on arrival was very special and a touch that people commented on. The day, from start to finish, was amazing.The St James's Club, and the team there, deserve praise for their exceptional hosting of our wedding reception.
