The Sykes Barn is set in the heart of Sledmere Estate. This charming range of model farm buildings offers exposed beams, brick archways, enclosed courtyard and can hold up to 250 guests. With optional furniture hire, no corkage charges and the opportunity to decorate the venue in your own personal style, the Sykes Barn is a diverse and flexible venue.

Fantastic venue for every eventFantastic venue for every event
The venue is perfect for people who want a blank canvas - we were able to choose everything from the tables, chairs and band to the food, flowers and bar. Sykes Barn is beautiful - we got some lovely photos inside and out - and kept everyone in one place. Michaela and the team are brilliant, and will give you as much help as you need. Attended the venue as best man for a weddingAttended the venue as best man for a wedding
Attended the venue as best man for a wedding! In short....wow what a venue!!. The church, house, marque were absolutely stunning making this the perfect location for any wedding.. And to top it all off, the sun was shining down on us all, and fireworks followed by a live band. Wow wow wow!! Simply perfect Simply perfect
We were lucky enough to get married in the beautiful church on the grounds, which meant our guests could just pop through the small gate to arrive out our marquee — perfection. Michaela (House and Hospitality Manager) was so lovely from start to finish, and did everything she could to make sure we had everything we needed for the perfect day. This even included advise when we asked, and making sure we knew the best suppliers around (shout out to Florida Marquees). I would also recommend staying on the grounds in the gorgeous Gate House :) We were lucky enough to get married in the beautiful church on the grounds, which meant our guests could just pop through the small gate to arrive out our marquee — perfection.
