Lakes, streams, bridges, arches, towers and ruins - the perfect setting for your wedding photographs. Luxury gourmet catering is provided by recommended caterers in a dedicated on site Pole marquee, which can be dressed to your design specification. Our wedding planner will help you along the way to make your wedding day a stress free and one to remember. Our Honeymoon cottage is the perfect retreat available for the Bride & Groom. Our dedicated onsite florist can offer seasonal flowers and help to decorate the venue to your specifications.

Welcome to the home of exquisite outdoor marquee weddings at Slaugham Place, near Horsham, West Sussex. We've been hosting romantic outdoor weddings in our delightful gardens for over two decades. We can help you plan your perfect wedding in the beautiful, historic, moated Elizabethan grounds. We hold a licence for outdoor marriage ceremonies under the majestic arches of the 16th Century Elizabethan Manor ruins.

Let me start by saying the venue is gorgeous - a real hidden gem in Sussex. As soon as we went there and met Carolina, we knew we wanted to get married there. “Wow, wow, wow!!! Where do we even begin, what a venue!!! A true special gem that what the dream setting for our Wedding. Slaugham was the first venue we saw when we started the process, as soon as we arrived, we just knew this was the one. It is hard to describe how breath taking and unique this venue is; the setting of the old ruins surrounded by a moat is something quite special. Carolina went above and beyond to assist us every step of the way. We could not recommend this venue more, 10/10 “Wow, wow, wow!!! Where do we even begin, what a venue!!! It is a stunning venue with a beautiful marquee and we were lucky enough to have some sun on the day! Carolina was incredibly helpful throughout the planning stages and Roman was brilliant with organisation on the day and in the lead up to the event. Huge thank you to them both - they made organising the event so easy and I couldn't recommend this wonderful venue enough! Nothing was too much trouble we certainly had the best day of our lives. We are so glad that we had the chance to use your recommended caterers - it was the best decision and the food was out of this world. Every single guest couldn't believe how beautiful Slaugham is. The compliments were said all night from the day and evening guests. The idea of making guests walk through and past the moat is simply great - everyone's faces when they come round the corner was such a picture. You are very lucky to call Slaugham your home and we truly are so grateful you shared it with us to allow us to have the best day ever. Carolina, Richard and the team - I want to say thank you so much for hosting our wedding at Slaugham Place! You really truly made our day and we couldn’t have asked for better service. You were so accommodating and flexible with our requirements, it felt like nothing was too much trouble. From helping set up the venue beautifully exactly as we wanted, to always being on hand in advance and throughout the day for when we had questions or needed help, to creating our stunning floral arrangements and bouquets, we couldn't fault it. The venue itself is just amazing and we had so many compliments about how unique and beautiful it was, with the ruins and the moat and the greenery. And the sailcloth marquee was a perfect retreat for dinner and dancing (and the 10pm thunderstorm…!). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Slaugham and the team to anyone looking for a magical wedding day. You made everything so stress-free and made us feel completely at ease and supported throughout. The flowers that you did for the day were incredible and the arch was just beautiful, we both loved it all. It was also great to see you on the day and to see you the day after briefly too. We cannot thank you both enough! I also wanted to say that Parlour were fantastic - thank you also for your work to get them lined up for the wedding - we would have been lost without that. We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the most fantastic, happiest day on Saturday. The venue was just absolutely brilliant.
