Our Award Winning, new, state of the art, modern barn (opened in 2021) includes the ‘wow’ factor with the personalisation opportunities of a marquee but the security of a solid structure, so you and your guests can enjoy a fantastic day and night without the fear of weather interference. Complete with a fully lined ceiling including fairy lights, chandeliers and black starlight dancefloor as well as a view that is truly breath taking; Runningburn is the Perfect venue for Your Special Day.
We are a family and small team business therefore we understand what’s required to ensure all our couples and guests have a truly spectacular wedding day from start to finish. We thrive on the story of our couples and love every aspect of getting to know them and their vision for a truly perfect day. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a wedding come together, guests having a ball and a brand-new Mr and Mrs heading off into the sunset together at the end of the night.
On 28th February 2023 we were awarded the South of Scotland Regional Wedding Venue of the Year 2023 award at the 10th Scottish Wedding Awards in Glasgow; an award nominated and voted for by our previous couples (their friends, family and guest).
As well as having a stunning award winning Wedding venue, being located on the farm, we also have the most fabulous views of rural/ agricultural scenery which are ideal for photos including our stunning pond for the perfect couple wedding photo; please give us a call or drop us an email to arrange a viewing and a no obligation quote.

My name is Katie & I am the Wedding and Event Planner at Runningburn. I joined the team in September 2023 and I absolutely love working with all our couples & everyone onsite to co-ordinate & deliver your dream wedding.
Yvonne & Jim own the venue & are the heart & soul of the Wedding delivery team whilst I like to think of myself as the right hand woman who pulls everything all together.

The food was absolutely delicious - everyone loved it. However it is the Runningburn team who make it as special as it is. They are always on hand to answer any questions in the run up to your big day. Jim and Yvonne go above and beyond during the set up and on the big day itself, even entertaining our one year old son! The catering and bar staff are second to none - the cocktail list and canapé choice are out of this world! I had my service and party there, nothing was to much trouble and Yvonne and Jim were hands on from start to finish. Having the venue for 3 days before my wedding was just amazing, it meant we could take our time to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. The views and the whole place has the WOW factor, amazing from start ot finish drinks flowing on arrival right down to the meal which was on time and serviced beautifully and hot.......just amazing. No other place could out do Runningburn Farm.Runningburn is the best place to get married.
