Barony Castle offers two wedding packages, each of which can be tailored to your exact requirements. Our pricing range shown here is based on numbers of 50 day guests with the venue accommodating up to 110 day guests in total and 130 for the evening reception. Pricing based on a Saturday in high season 2026, midweek and low season discounts available.

- SSamantha & Steven21/05/2026A Wedding dreams are made of A Wedding dreams are made ofWe had our beautiful wedding here and the wedding coordinator couldn’t have been any better honestly she made me and my hubby feel at ease nothing was too much trouble and she even helped the sister in law with a dress mishap honestly couldn’t fault her what so ever. The staff were all fantastic actually made us feel like part of the family. Bar staff were a good laugh. From first thing in the morning to last thing at night amazing day all round and I think that’s down to the staff here. The barony castle hotel is absolutely beautiful the castle itself and the grounds too.We had our beautiful wedding here and the wedding coordinator couldn’t have been any better honestly she made me and my hubby feel at ease nothing was too much trouble and she even helped the sister in law with a dress mishap honestly couldn’t fault her what so ever. The staff were all fantastic actually made us feel like part of the family. Bar staff were a good laugh. The venue is set within gorgeous woodlands/fields and is a beautiful historical castle with an abundance of photo opportunities! Hannah, our coordinator, was great from the outset. She was very responsive to all my adhoc emails and nothing was ever too much trouble. She helped in providing suggestions for the day as well as making sure everything ran smoothly and to time. She allowed us to drop off wedding bits the week before our wedding day, and had neatly packaged everything up for us to take home the day after. I found all the staff to be lovely at the venue and heard only good things from my guests. The food was delicious and we loved that guests could choose their meals out of 2 possible options. The bar staff were really good on the wedding night, especially since people were ordering cocktails. We chose this venue based on the beautiful grounds that surround it and also the gorgeous ceremony room. The bridal suite is a perfect size for getting ready with your bridal party and there’s lots of natural light which makes for great photos. We first visited for a wedding open day and we were blown away by how beautiful the Elibank Suite is. Barony had everything we were looking for; stunning ceremony space, the right amount of privacy for our day, beautiful grounds for pictures, lots of space for our guests to stay. Hannah (wedding co-ordinator) was exceptional. She was an invaluable part of our wedding planning with her guidance, communication, organisation and pre-wedding meetings. She co-ordinated the day so perfectly for us, everything ran so smoothly and we appreciate her lead in this. The food is stunning. The staff are amazing. We were so looked after from our first visit and every time we have been. There is so much included in the wedding packages on offer, we were so appreciative about how transparent they were and nothing was too much to ask. We found that other venues almost tripped you up with extras that you would have to pay but Barony were so clear and we feel we got so much for our money. They have lots of recommended suppliers, Beautifully covered provided stunning decor for our ceremony and had lots more on offer. We feel that they truly wanted us to have the day we dreamed of and delivered it seamlessly. We had a perfect wedding day and Barony Castle will forever have such a special place in our hearts. The grounds are stunning for pictures & there's plenty of space for over night guests. Hannah, our wedding planner, made sure our day went nearly perfect. The food was excellent too! We had a few meetings with wedding coordinator, Hannah in the lead up to the big day which gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get organised. She was also very reachable over the phone and email and keen to accommodate our requests where possible. We got married on the front lawn which was beautiful and we had a brilliant day. Hannah was amazing making everything so easy and nothing was to much. We booked our wedding breakfast tasting on the weekend a major storm hit Scotland and when we arrived they were working off a generator but if we were not told we wouldn't have known everything was amazing the staff were so helpful and accommodating and helped us pick our perfect menu for our big day. The day before the wedding day we arrived with all our decorations Hannah took over everything allowing us to relax. The day went beautifully our guests loved Barony and its beautiful surrounding and could not praise the staff enough they worked so hard to make everything perfect and we did not have to worry about a thing, they thought of everything. We can not wait to come back for our anniversary next year. To name one would be unfair as each one is unique.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To relax and enjoy the journey, which is easier said then done. If someone has an issue e.g. they need to get a room booked, then don't get involved unless you are paying for it yourself. There are too many thing to be done to leave your happy wedding bubble to sort out someone else's drama!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my couples for their guest book had ordered (off Etsy) the house from Up with space for all of their guests to write their names onto balloons. It was the cutest idea I had seen in a long time and this may be an idea I have to borrow for my own.
