Our pricing can massively vary depending on what you are looking for from intimate, evening reception only to large exclusive use 3 day events. Our Castle package includes everything from the venue side that you might need, accommodation, drinks and food packages but you will need to book all of your own suppliers. The Baronial package however includes a photographer, 3 tier cake, content creator, piper, LED dancefloor, wedding stationary, DJ, top table flowers and extra accommodation for the night before the wedding. Everything is fully bespoke to your preference.

The grounds are stunning for pictures & there's plenty of space for over night guests. Hannah, our wedding planner, made sure our day went nearly perfect. The food was excellent too! My husband & I were both very happy with our wedding at Barony. It's lovely when we return and the staff remember us too! Looking forward to celebrating our 1st anniversary at Barony too. The suites were lovely, and having access to both the Eddleston and adjoining Darnhall in the morning was absolutely perfect for getting ready and relaxing before the ceremony. Hannah was amazing making everything so easy and nothing was to much. We booked our wedding breakfast tasting on the weekend a major storm hit Scotland and when we arrived they were working off a generator but if we were not told we wouldn't have known everything was amazing the staff were so helpful and accommodating and helped us pick our perfect menu for our big day. The day before the wedding day we arrived with all our decorations Hannah took over everything allowing us to relax. The day went beautifully our guests loved Barony and its beautiful surrounding and could not praise the staff enough they worked so hard to make everything perfect and we did not have to worry about a thing, they thought of everything. We can not wait to come back for our anniversary next year. I envisioned a beautiful woodland wedding and the grounds at Barony Castle didn't disappoint. We attended one of the wedding fares and I just knew this was the place I was going to take my vows. The pathway down to the alter with elm trees intertwined to make a tunnel was stunning and the sunlight bursting through the gaps made it very magical. Two years planning our intimate wedding and the help we got from Hannah and the team were amazing. The few days we were there for the wedding ALL of the staff were amazing and nothing was too much to do for you. All my guests and ourselves appreciate how friendly and helpful they were. The wedding day was perfect and we probably had the hottest day in Scotland ever. I just can't thank them all enough for making our day extra special. Everything ran smoothly and everyone really had the best time. I would highly recommend Barony Castle. Hannah was absolutely amazing in helping us plan organise and be a part of our special day she went above and beyond for us can't put into words how much we appreciate all the help love and laughter she put into making our day so special. And the staff in the restaurant the night before the morning or the wedding and throughout the day we amazing and tended to everything we needed especially the restaurant manager Sarah. We had so many laughs from start to finish really made our day that extra special we would do it all over again and wouldn't change our day for the better, our day was a fairytale. After our proposal in the grounds we knew Barony would be the perfect wedding venue. Hannah our wedding planner, and all the staff, are a real credit to Barony Castle. Hannah guided us every step of the way throughout the planning process and on the day itself. She ensured we had the perfect day and that everything ran smoothly. From our previous stays, we already knew how amazing the food and drinks were, but as part of our package we were invited up to sample all four courses of our wedding meal, including drinks, and we were blown away by the quality. All of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meals and on the food and drinks in general as most of our guests stayed for two nights. As for the actual venue itself, the grounds are stunning. Even after all these years we are still finding lovely new areas when we go out for our walks. The Elibank and Meldons function rooms are both beautiful and when set up on the day, looked absolutely stunning! The guest bedrooms are cosy, comfortable and always clean. We have stayed in most of the suites now which are all amazing, the Dean View and Eddleston suites in particular are gorgeous. We enjoyed an extra nights stay after our wedding in the Dean View which we would highly recommend. As part of our package, we were provided with and recommended all of our wedding suppliers. Again, these were all fantastic, easy to deal with, super friendly and professional in their work. Special shout outs to Brian Cassidy (Photographer) and his lovely wife Irene, Lynsey (Florist, Blooming Bunch), Beth Ritchie (Makeup Artist), Emily French (Hairdresser). Not only were they all amazing at their jobs, but were the kindest, friendliest people who made our day extra special. All in all, we simply cannot recommend Barony Castle highly enough. We had the most amazing wedding day and wish we could do it all again! We have already booked a party there for our 1st wedding anniversary and look forward to seeing the Barony team again soon. What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
To relax and enjoy the journey, which is easier said then done. If someone has an issue e.g. they need to get a room booked, then don't get involved unless you are paying for it yourself. There are too many thing to be done to leave your happy wedding bubble to sort out someone else's drama!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my couples for their guest book had ordered (off Etsy) the house from Up with space for all of their guests to write their names onto balloons. It was the cutest idea I had seen in a long time and this may be an idea I have to borrow for my own.

The feedback we get from couples and their families. Seeing my couples as they check out and finding out that everything was perfect for them, that they had the best day is the most heart warming part of my job as it means I just need to keep doing what I have been doing.
