- MMr and Mrs Bloxham17/11/2018Our special day was a day to remember for all the right reasons!Our special day was a day to remember for all the right reasons!Chose here for our wedding venue last year, we had our special day 3rd November 2018, would like to thank all the staff involved from booking right up to and including the big day and our stay that followed and would definitely recommend, our special day was a day to remember for all the right reasons, guests commented on how amazing the wedding breakfast was, I am a very picky eater and the menu was tweaked to our tastes, the evening buffet that followed was also enjoyed by all, the staff where absolutely commendable and went out of there way to ensure everything was perfect for us, special thanks to Emmie who listened to what we wanted and made recommendations to us both, Steven and Christine for making the day run smoothly and thank you to all the staff involved in both our wedding day and our stay afterwards, it was lovely to be acknowledged and to still receive the same high level of service after our day for the rest of our stay, we had a lovely day spent in the spa and enjoyed a 3 course carvery lunch on the Sunday which we struggled to eat, again amazing food and service before enjoying another nights stay, lastly a thank you to Liam, Connor and Jade whose friendly and welcoming attitudes throughout our stay, they did everything with a smile and nothing was a problem for them. It's been probably 18 months of Emmie having to put up with my emails and she's managed to help us out with everything we needed. We had the most amazing day from start to finish.On Saturday 11th August I had my wedding at the hotel and cannot thank all of the staff enough. We had the most amazing day from start to finish. Thanks to Emmie for all of her help leading up to the wedding and to all of the staff on the day including the DJ. I had the bridal suite both the night before and the night of and it was lovely and very spacious. Shout out to the cleaner who made my life so much easier. Always checking in asking if we needed anything, coming in and giving the room a tidy whilst we were getting married and even washing my baby's bottles! The room was an absolute mess from everyone getting ready there so she was a massive help! The hotel gave us a late checkout for 1pm as soon as we asked, which we definitely needed! The pool was lovely and refreshing and myself and the guests really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend getting married at this hotel. Emmie in the events team took great care of us in the planning and kept us on track and made suggestions to help the day run smoothly. The food was tasty, hot and good portion sizes all our guests agreed with how good the food was. The servers, bar staff and duty managers were so helpful and nothing was a problem.
