Plumpton Racecourse is well suited to large Asian and multicultural weddings, as the marquee can seat up to 350 guests for dining and there is the option to host ceremonies across a number of locations. Ceremonial fires are allowed, but restrictions apply. Guests can enjoy a champagne reception outside in the sunshine, where your special moments are captured within our wonderful setting, and importantly the venue is exclusively yours for this memorable day. Included in the wedding package is our beautiful pavilion marquee, furniture, styling elements like chandeliers adorning the ceiling, pa system, overnight parking, heating, air conditioning, range of indoor suites, lawn and outdoor areas, option to glamp, alfresco and indoor ceremony spaces, large walk-in refrigeration and full kitchen available (incurs small additional fee). The wedding package at Plumpton offers couples a truly unique and affordable way to get married in Sussex. Couples are welcome to choose their own suppliers, including catering and there is no corkage fee. All weddings include a three-day hire, so there is plenty of time for set-up and clear down. Plumpton also has an in-house team who are available to support with catering and drinks packages if interested. Plumpton Racecourse is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, offering both an indoor and outdoor ceremony venue. Our outdoor ceremony venue is located in the picturesque setting of the Parade Ring, creating a unique location for your special day.
