Our self catered packages include all the tools you need to then personalize and make use of to bring your wedding to life. Our standard package is priced at £2000 and includes - • Hire of the Parksite Suite • Use of the hotel grounds for photographs • Hotel representative • Table and chairs • White table linen • White paper napkins • Use of our kitchen area (for reheating purposes only) • Kitchen porter x 1 • Free car parking • Special accommodation rates for your guests. Our upgraded package is priced at £3500 and includes all of the above plus - • Catering Manager • Soft drinks corkage charge • Crockery, cutlery and glassware • Cloth napkins • Red carpet arrival • Early access to the ballroom (for decoration purposes) • Use of the hotel’s table easel • Changing room for guests We have a list of external caterers we can work with, however always open to working with new businesses. If you wish to hire our staff on top of the staff provided by your caterer our charges are as followed plus other charges to consider - • Team members: £12.50 per hour • Management: £22.00 per hour • White chair covers & coloured sash: £3.50 per chair • Corkage charges for alcoholic beverages available on request

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We hosted a lovely summer wedding where the bride, groom and guests got to enjoy the best of both - the rustic styled indoor civil ceremony followed by reception drinks, photos and lawn games outside in the sunshine. After a few hours of fun outside the guests returned inside for a beautiful tailored three course meal with 10/10 speeches full of laughs and some tears of joy. The evening reception did not disappoint, our resident DJ worked their magic to keep the party going all night using a mix of the happy couples requested music, guest requests on the night and all the floor fillers around. All the guests and staff had a great time, there was a fabulous buzz in the air all day and night.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

To try not let yourself get overwhelmed with all the details and planning. Sure every detail is important, but start by writing different elements of your wedding down and putting them in priority order. Take your time and slowly focus on one element at a time. You will find that a lot of the smaller details will simply fall in line as you're working on some of the bigger details. One thing at a time, bit by bit.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Seeing couples not sticking to the traditions and making their wedding truly unique. One beautiful wedding we had simply let any of the guests stand up and say a few words about the happy couple after the dessert. Throwing out the pressure of conventional speeches and reliving the father of the bride who didn't feel comfortable standing in front of a large crowd speaking.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Our new intimate pagoda is a stunning spot for any wedding. With a wooden frame, festoon lighting and beautiful green foliage forest background.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We actually have Fame Academies Alister Griffin visiting the hotel later this year for a night of live music, food, drinks, fun and much more!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Yorkshire bite-sized sausages wrapped in honey grain roasted bacon. Hands down every time.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

A simple cheesy margarita pizza slice with a crusty thin base.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The elegant grand staircase leading up to the bridal suite on the original side of the building dating back to the 1800s.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The staff, every single person on the team is so friendly and dedicated to making every wedding and event we hold the absolute best it can be.
