Where to start with this review!! 🧡 Il start with My “Fairy godmother” Rosie. Absolutely above and beyond expectations from this lady! We had to change our wedding not once but three times during the pandemic. Rosie was our absolute rock. Called all involved moved over the dates reassured Matthew and I on the daily that everything will be ok! I could call this lady at 3am and Rosie would be there! After three long years of waiting. We finally got our perfect PERFECT day! And it’s quite literally all down to Mapperley Farm🫶🏼 The venue…. Such a dreamy place!! Matthew and I tied the knot in the barn. It couldn’t have been more perfect! The sun was shining the court yard was full of happy guest with drinks and canapés. We then had our reception in park view field in tipis we had a tracker ride down with all our friends and family (tractor provided by Mapperley Farm) all involved were recommended by Mapperley farm and We wouldn’t have had it any other way the “dream team” I will forever remember Rosie, Sam and their incredible team for making our wedding our dream I miss you already! Counting down the days for our wedding renewal to do it all over again with you! All our love, The Hutchinson 🧡

Lucy Wilson Bell recommends Mapperley Farm Events Venue: "More than just a farm! We started our wedding planning journey back in March 2019 looking for a venue for our festival themed wedding. Mapperley farm was our second venue and we immediately fell in love with Park View with there gorgeous intimate ceremony space plus fabulous views from the field. We had to get married here! Rosie and Sam took care of us from the get go and helped us find a lot of our suppliers alongside offering extra bits and pieces we could hire from them that were perfect for our day. We were also one of the unfortunate couples who had to postpone twice due to covid but the transitions of dates were so easy for all parties. In the lead up weeks towards the wedding Rosie walked us through our order of the day including organising the registrar meetings. She really does answer problems you hadn't considered to be a problem before hand. She also had fun plotting some of our silly games we had planned for our guests to do whilst we were away on our photoshoot. Building a festival wedding from the ground up could have been a stressful occasion from setting up the day before and take down after. But honestly Rosie's team were the absolute dream team throughout the weekend. We cannot thank you enough for all that you did. Lucy & Matt xx"

Hi Rosie and Sam I know that we thanked you both personally yesterday, but I just wanted to write to you to let you know that we have been inundated with lovely messages about how brilliant the whole weekend was - from the camping on Friday right through to Saturday night! People were just amazed about how magical it was at Mapperley Farm, and it is a day they, and we, will never forget. The photos are starting to come through from guests (not the official ones yet), so I thought I’d send you a few, as you may want to use them in your slideshow when guests visit your site. Thank you so much once again - I feel exhausted but overwhelmed at how wonderful the whole experience was. You are both amazing.

We wanted to say a huge thank you and dedicate a post to all of the companies, businesses, friends and family that contributed to making our day incredible! Sorry for the delay, After over doing it with all the wedding prep, We’re Currently in hospital trying to stop labour! But luckily I’d pre written this so think I best get it posted! First of all to everyone at the venue at Mapperley Farm Events Venue who have been by our side through every step of the wedding planning and our personal lives for the last few years ♥️ from the beautiful barn they have, woodland area that staged our first dance under the pergola, to the tractor ride, providing all the extras such as the bar, Icecream bike, fire pit and god knows what else we added on 😅 and of corse a special thanks to Rosie Amber for keeping everything in order the whole weekend, not just the day! Thank you to YURTmakerRT for providing and spending days building the most incredible reception venue we’ve ever seen! It’s was us to a T! Thank you to Will Fuller Photography for capturing the whole day. Your eye for the most perfect shots that will bring back the most amazing memories for years to come. I cant wait to see the final album! Just the rough edits had us in tears 😍 Thank you to the band Waking Vegas for being part of our day from start to finish and setting the perfect atmosphere throughout the whole day. Thank you for learning our ceremony and first dance song, (and dealing with Ricky Roe on his worst behaviour 😅) Thank you to David’s Cigar Bar who provided our guests with be biggest range of cigars and the most unique experience! Definitely going to be a highlight. It was a pleasure to have you as part of our day not just as a business but as individuals too! You fit right in! ☘️ Thank you to Christina Michelle at Cakey Bakey Art (Sugarcraft Cakey Bakey Art (Sugarcraft School) (also so proud that she’s my auntie! 😌) Who has spent months prepping the most extravagant cake we’ve ever seen! We expected a show stopper but it was out of this world! Every piece personalised for us, hand made and completely edible! A subtle nod to our little Maggie in there too ♥️ Thank you to Trish and her team at Tea With Millie And Ellie - travelling tea Tea With Millie And Ellie - travelling tea room For the afternoon tea that didn’t just look amazing but tasted like nothing we’ve tasted before! Creating the unique menu especially to suit our taste! Our guests were blown away too! We will definitely be ordering our wedding menu for every special occasion from now on 😍 Thank you to Bellows Glamping and Bellows Glamping and Events for the pretties of bell tents for our guests to sleep. They set the scene for the perfect photos! (a special thank you to Jonny Tyler and Morgan Bailey Morgan Bailey Woods (Meg) for reframing from trashing the tents, wetting the bed or urinating in the bin. You did good.) Thank you to The Wedding Pizza The Wedding Pizza Company that worked hard to feed our guest what I can only describe as the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! Ps, where are you going to be next so we can come for another pizza?! 🤤 Thank you to JJ's Weddings for the beautiful flowers. Thank you to chloe at Cheveux by C. for recreating the most complicated of hair styles for me and my bridesmaids and spending the morning with me and the girls! Kylie Hutsby at Kylie Lucy Hutsby for being the best catfish creator of all times! 😅 and working with me being picky! Always a pleasure ♥️ just felt like you was one of the girls ♥️ Hayeswood Lodge who provided their whole lodge just for my wedding party. The grounds and rooms are out of this world 😍 Dan also went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! To Dad Nigel David Smith for finally being able to use the car for one of his own! I’ve imagined myself in it on the way to my own wedding so many times and I can’t believe it finally happened! Mum Andrea Smith and Danny O'Keefe for spending hours tweaking the bridesmaids dresses to turn my ideas in to a reality! They looked amazing and suited every one of the bridesmaids! (yes danny is a dab hand with a sewing machine! 😅) Nick at Old Black Horse, Old Black Horse, Mapperley for feeding the herd on Sunday morning 🐄 🤣 A huge thank you to all of our family and friends, that helped out from looking after the dogs & kids, helped set up and pack up again, and everything inbetween including contributing to our extras! Mum, dad, Natalie Woods Lee Woods and all the rest. Thank you to every single one of our guests that helped make it a day to remember for the rest of our lives and thank you for all of the gifts and cards! To the grooms men, bridesmaids, page boys and flower girl, best man Aron Waterfield for keeping Danny in line! And last but not least to my best friend and maid of honer Adele Burton that deserves more than a bloody medal for dealing with my hormonal pregnancy bridezilla attitude. Thank you for not punching me in the face 😅 and thank you for absolutely everything you’ve done for me and for being there by my side as a shoulder to lean on (not cry on because I don’t cry 😅) you are everything a bride dreams to have by her side ♥️

second time I have been here for an event and there are no words that do it justice. Fantastic venue and staff are absolutely out of this world. Thank you all for yet again another amazing weekend, see you all next year 👍

Rosie and Sam gave us the perfect day. From the moment we booked, Rosie was always on hand to answer any questions we had and give us advice and both so helpful setting up and throughout the day. We had a great experience and everyone said they had a fabulous time. We would definitely recommend and we are glad we live so close that we often walk past and remember such a great day. They couldn't do enough for us.

Thank you Rosie and Sam for an amazing experience with you for our wedding. From initially looking around the site and booking, through covid and keeping in touch with us to reassure us that they would do everything they could to help us to make our day go ahead (including reserving the date weekend for us 12 months later) and helping us to rearrange our suppliers to making sure that we and all our guests had the best day - we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The little details were perfect - arranging the cocktail happy hour we asked about when we first looked round, sourcing specific beers we asked for and meeting our vintage Rolls-Royce as we arrived at the entrance to the field in the pouring rain to make sure the driver brought us right to the front of our tipi! Rosie has excellent relationships with suppliers and is always happy to accommodate new ones. She knew our plans inside out and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We’re so pleased we chose Mapperley Farm and can’t recommend it highly enough.

I cannot recommend Mapperley Farm enough for a venue! Rosie is just amazing and will help you bring your wedding dreams come to life! Its been a pretty tough time for us as we were due to marry on 25th July 2020 but sadly due to Covid-19 this wasn't meant to be. Rosie called us and provided us with dates for next year to postpone the date and discuss with all our suppliers and offered to help in any way she could! They truly are the BEST wedding venue / experience out there and we cannot wait to marry there next year 😍😍
