Our wedding at the Art Gallery on Weds 29th Dec was a day that far exceeded our expectations and thanks to all of the fantastic people involved in organising our day , with be one of the best and happiest days of our lives. It was an absolutely wonderful event. Victoria, Debbie, Adam, Ryan and all of their staff where an absolutely dream. The welcome was extraordinary, the drinks perfect..and the food was heaven and all of our guests Carnivores-Vegans and everything in between praised the food to the highest. The wonderful team at the Gallery all went the extra mile and made our occasion extra special. It’s rare to find such wonderful people all of who do such an amazing job, so on behalf of me and my husband I wanted to recommend the venue and say if you're lucky enough to be able to get married there you should grab the opportunity with both hands. And that's just because of the people involved ...when you add in the most amazing surroundings ... the architecture, art work, lighting, history....wow..wow..wow... you have a breathtaking event that would be hard to beat.

We can’t recommend the gallery and the team who work there enough - they made our day so memorable and their support was invaluable throughout the process. Our co-ordinator Victoria was extremely knowledge and helpful, always trying to help us in whatever way she could. The food was delicious and top quality, everyone commented on how it was presented and the innovative menu.

During the pandemic the art gallery provided exceptional support to us for our special day. We cannot thank Victoria enough, it was the best day of our lives.

"Manchester Art Gallery was, without a doubt, the best venue we could have picked for our wedding reception! The events team were fantastic in the run-up to the event, helping ensure we had everything in place and any special requests were catered for. When it came to the day, all the guests commented on how special the venue was, and how brilliant the in-house catering was. If you want a stunning drinks reception among paintings, dinner surrounded by artwork, and a great party after, then look no further! We would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone!"

Morning Victoria Myself and my husband (eeks) would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you again to you and your team for helping us (sorry Russell ha) turn around a wedding in just a few weeks. It really was magical from start to finish, and you helped us achieve everything we dreamed it would be and more. Everyone was talking about how perfect the room was and our photos are amazing, especially of Russell’s mum, who was beaming. You really did go above and beyond to help make our day special. The venue was absolutely stunning, great for pictures and such a unique and fun place to have our ceremony and reception. The events team (Debbie and Victoria especially) were brilliant: they were friendly, answered all of our questions, were very quick to respond to emails, looked into special requests for us, and were very accommodating and professional. Debbie helped us coordinate on the day and made sure everything went smoothly, which was such a great help. The food was fantastic - we got great feedback from our guests - and the catering team gave great service and was really great in answering our queries and being flexible on requests like evening snacks etc. The ceremony room was all set up and ready before the guests arrived, then the setup of the gallery for the cocktail hour was also well-timed and organized, and the atrium for dinner was simply stunning. I would 100% recommend the venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and unique place to celebrate their wedding.
