Set in the heart of Fareham, Lysses House Hotel is an elegant Georgian House with quiet and peaceful surroundings. Your wedding will be the only one taking place so you can enjoy your special day to the full. The hotel is the perfect setting for beautiful photographs both inside and out making it an excellent choice of venue.
We offer civil marriages, civil partnerships, wedding receptions and evening parties. You can be assured of our staff’s undivided attention and know that they will do their very best to ensure you have a day that you can relax and enjoy. Whatever style of wedding you choose, we guarantee to provide superb food, fine wine and most of all a friendly and personal service delivered by a team of great people.
You are welcome to visit us at any time to have a look around our hotel. We recommend giving us a call first so we can make sure all of our facilities are available for you to view.

Our wedding brochure explains how we can help you plan your special day. However if you wish to personalise your day we are happy to work around individual tastes and budgets. At Lysses we are pleased to offer all of our couples the following:

Our wedding was beautiful! Minimalistic with the decor but elegant. The flowers were beautifully displayed on the tables and nothing was too much to ask. Would highly recommend the Lysses House Hotel in Fareham for your special day. A huge thank you to Clive and all the staff for making our wedding day one I will never forget!!! Our guests were made to feel welcome and comfortable had a fantastic day, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and no pressure to hurry up or move on to the next step in proceedings they were willing to wait for us to take extra photos and guests had a large array of seating areas to use indoors a comfy lounge with sofas more formal chairs in another part and outside seating on the lovely patio with 6/8 tables and chairs umbrellas and a fully stocked bar serving guests in a quick and efficient manner. The gardens at Lysses House Hotel are absolutely beautiful and provided a fantastic back drop to our wedding photos and we are so pleased with them. We approached Lysses House House 9 months before our chosen date and we could not fault them they gave us all the information about the possibilities available to us and the different choices you can choose to suit your budget I thought this fantastic from that point my mind was made up straight away. We booked a second meeting to formally talk about the services they could provide, when they told us that the wedding could be conducted on site I was so excited it took away the stress of transport between registry office and venue and in the package we chose a room was included for the wedding night, so I was able to arrive at the venue before the guests and get ready in our room with my maid of honour before any other guests arrived (also from the room I had,I could also spy on the guests and see the excitement on there faces before hand) breakfast was also part of the deal and if you get Married on a Saturday you can book in for a Sunday roast to, which brings me back to the wedding breakfast it was out of this world all of our dietary requirements were catered for even fussy eaters were given something to suit their palate. There was also a discount offered for other members of the wedding party to book the hotel with a 15% discount when booked through the hotel reception. Overall we personally could not thank Clive Wright and the whole team at Lysses House Hotel, more for their hard work and thoughtfulness which made the wedding day the happiest day of our life’s and that of all the guests.
