Whisper it quietly, or everyone will find out, but we’ve just opened up our beautiful, secluded, walled garden in Woburn.
The 70-metre tree-lined, mature garden is set up for special occasions year-round. Summer guests can soak up the sun on the paved terrace or shelter on the shady lawn – both just a stone’s throw from our outdoor bar, pizza oven and grill.
When the thermometer starts to dip and the nights draw in, our elegant canvas tipi comes into its own. With space for 60 comfortably seated inside the cosy tent, the winter wedding party will be aglow in the garden.
And we haven’t even mentioned the award-winning, high welfare, 95% UK-sourced menu our chefs will create in collaboration with you. Lussmanns was recently awarded Three Stars in the Food Made Good Standard - the world’s largest and most rigorous restaurant sustainability certification.
Incredibly, because we believe the best should be affordable and accessible, we’re now taking bookings in the walled garden at Woburn for Spring 2026 onwards.
NB: The venue reserves the right to review prices for bookings made more than 12 months in advance.

What experience do we have with weddings and events?
We host wedding receptions all the time in our private dining rooms or full- hire restaurant spaces. All we are doing is transposing our experience to our lovely garden. We also run outside catering services frequently to some high-end clients and have done so for years.
Are we suitable for events other than weddings?
Yes! Our garden, terrace and tipi are the perfect settings for birthdays, occasions and corporate events from a pizza & beer party to a full on corporate bash.
