The grade II listed Georgian mansion, cocooned within gorgeous landscaped gardens and with its own imposing chapel, offers everything you need for a truly perfect day.
When it comes to your wedding day, we realise that no one wants ‘off the peg’ and with our personalised, professional service you won’t need to settle. Civil ceremonies can be held in our on-site banqueting suites, with the largest offering space for 350 guests and while we’re more than happy to cater for grand events like these we’re equally at ease with creating intimate events for much smaller groups. Whatever kind of day you’re planning, we will make sure it’s perfect for you.

Sophie last year was amazing and this year Oana who took care of was also very kind, understanding and helpful. We had some challenges with the pricing for the venue but this was successfully resolved with care & understanding which I truly appreciated. I want to thank the Special Events Team at London Chigwell Prince Regent and mostly Oana for the great care and going above and beyond for us! Michelle Amoakohene was an amazing events coordinator and helped us plan the most amazing day, I cannot thank her enough! The venue was beautiful especially the garden area allowing our guests to take the perfect photos. The staff on site on the day and the events team were extremely helpful and truly made our day special We hosted our wedding reception at this venue in September 2024! The whole event was amazing! Michelle Amoakohene was an amazing events coordinator and helped us plan the most amazing day, I cannot thank her enough! The venue was beautiful especially the garden area allowing our guests to take the perfect photos. The staff on site on the day and the events team were extremely helpful and truly made our day special

We went down the route of dry hire and Michelle from the special events team was available at all times for any queries and help along the way. For summer weddings, I would definitely recommend the outdoor area! We held our ceremony and cocktail hour out here and it was beautiful (the sun also made an appearance for us). Our reception was in the Regency Suite and what a beautiful space it is! The manager Roxy assisted me with my first look with my dad, took me to the registrars and to the ceremony and all I can say is, she is a credit to the venue and I hope they sincerely appreciate the hard work and effort she puts into every guest. We had a large amount of guests stay over from the Thursday-Sunday and the reception staff were also extremely accommodating and friendly through this time. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever and it has been amazing working with you all! The service throughout our booking and on the actual day was literally the best. Lornell who was the one dealing with our booking, was one of the most, kind, generous and sweet lady. She was so helpful and overall would love to keep in touch with her for future events at this venue. The regency suite at this hotel was absolutely beautiful, we held a wedding reception here and all the guests complimented the beautiful venue. The service throughout our booking and on the actual day was literally the best. Lornell who was the one dealing with our booking, was one of the most, kind, generous and sweet lady. She was so helpful and overall would love to keep in touch with her for future events at this venue.

Would highly recomment this venue, staff at the Special Events team are so helpful,professional and responsive. The best venue ever!We went to visit a number of venues for our daughter's Asian wedding, lots of boxes had to be ticked in terms of accessibility of venue, parking facilities, size and style. We selected Prince Regent Hotel Chigwell and had months of pleasant dealings with them. Very helpful with everything, wedding day went so smoothly, so many wonderful comments on the venue from guests. Parking plentiful for guests and location ideal. The banqueting suite has been recently decorated so it looks even more beautiful. Exceeded all my expectations and am grateful. Very hard to choose a best wedding! We have organised numerous and culturally diverse weddings and we took pride in being part of the planning stages as well as hosted them all. We specialize in dry hire weddings as well as in house catering packaged weddings, please don't hesitate to get it touch on [email protected]! We've got beautiful facilities & a fun and friendly team to help you start planning.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
List all your favourite things that you and your partner would like to happen on your wedding day and tackle one by one.
Ask the venue for a list of all details they need from you and work on that as soon as you can.
Aim to have everything decided upon and settled 1 month prior. You will want to take it all in and enjoy the weeks / days before your wedding, not needing to stress for things short lead.

It's usually the civil ceremonies that get us all emotional, the songs chosen to walk down the aisle to and the vows

Memorable, beautiful, full of character, glamourous and grand.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our garden near the Pavilion is a great spot for photos! There are lots of beautiful flowers and trees that make a great backdrop for any photo. The Pavilion itself is also a great spot for photos - it has a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We've had the stars from The Only Way is Essex visit.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our favorite canapé is arancini balls! They are so delicious and have a great blend of flavors. I especially love the crunchy outer layer and the gooey cheese center. I also appreciate that they can be served as both a snack or an appetizer.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our most unique feature is the ability to host outdoor ceremonies in our beautiful landscaped grounds. We are fully licensed to host such ceremonies, making us the perfect venue for your special day! Our grounds are meticulously maintained and offer a picturesque backdrop for any celebration. We are sure that you and your guests will enjoy the experience of an outdoor ceremony in a tranquil setting.
