She is very passionate about the work she does, and it was a pleasure planning the wedding with her in the preceding months. The level of care and thoughtfulness she displayed throughout the planning stage and on the day was invaluable. The venue itself is breathtaking. The moment we walked into the Crystal Ballroom for the first time we knew that this is THE place where we want to celebrate the most important day in our lives. The ballroom features a grand crystal chandelier and rococo ceiling, providing just a perfect backdrop to those wedding photos we dreamt of. The rooms we and our guests stayed in were beautiful and everyone has enjoyed their stay. We were also impressed with the hotel staff that took care of the wedding reception. Everyone was professional and the service was exceptional from waiting staff to concierge desk. The food served at the wedding breakfast was beautiful. It may seem like a small detail, but in a moment of panic, she was the calm we needed. She didn’t just coordinate our wedding, she genuinely cared for us and held everything together with such grace. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Our room was stunning and comfortable. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every Wedding is special to us but the wedding of Nina and Matt was simply beautiful. Nina, a wedding planner herself ensured everything was exceptionally sophisticated. The style and colour scheme of her wedding theme, both classic and elegant, echoed our interiors. We always boost that our lush tree-lined courtyard, sweeping staircase and dramatic ballroom provide the ideal backdrop for those important wedding photographs and her wedding certainly qualified that. Her wedding photographer, Nadine Van Biljon, captured the elegance of the day perfectly and we are delighted to have these photographs to use as part of our wedding collateral.

We have had a couple whose special guest was their beautiful Dog!

St. Ermin's hotel has three amazing photo spots, a lush tree-lined courtyard, a sweeping staircase in the ornate Lobby and a dramatic ballroom.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We respect privacy so would rather not detail.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our chefs work with our couples to tailor their menus but, if we had to pick something from the past it would be 'curry seared scallops on watermelon with coconut' or vegetarian option ‘blue cheese and potato croquette with mushroom cream, wild mushrooms and caramelised baby onion’.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
After dancing for a while, nothing better than to recharge with a classic bacon roll.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The original ornate plasterwork throughout the lobby and ballroom.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The service, our staff goes the extra mile to ensure every couple feels special and their guests are well looked after.
