In short it’s every couples dream. Our recent refurbished Fountain Suite is now a strikingly beautiful space for anything up to 200 guests. Along with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, it offers a romantic trinity of crystal wallpaper, ‘wow factor’ chandeliers and its own walled garden with pergola (at night it has to be seen to be believed with a dome of twinkling lights above the classical figures). For smaller receptions – and no celebration’s too small for us – we have the stylish Glasshouse, overlooking lush parkland: the stage for a gorgeous wedding breakfast. As any wedding expert knows, it the little touches that can make a difference to your big day. The Liverpool Aigburth Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western offers special thrones for the happy couple, along with hand crafted candelabras and a medieval sword for a stylish cut of the cake. Add in our lovely landscaped grounds with their fountain and drizzle of statues and your celebration promises to have an extra dash of flair. Perfect Day - it goes so fast!Perfect Day - it goes so fast!
We had our wedding on 28 May 2022 at Liverpool Aigburth Hotel. We had visited a few popular venues in Liverpool but knew right away that this was the venue for us, the day itself was perfect with ceremony in the Italian garden the sun shining on the beautifully laid out seating and red carpet, drinks reception in the Glass House, the wedding breakfast in the Fountain Suite - food was just perfect, with the Fountain Suite was turned around for the evening reception. The venue is great but what makes it is the people who work there, each person went above and beyond to make our day amazing. Food, chef Ian from the wedding fair tasters, wedding menu tasting to the wedding breakfast and evening buffet was faultless. The only issues we had were choosing from the great menu options and me finishing my dessert on the day. Guests were not left hungry. Rachel and Ryan made sure the lead up to the wedding was planned just as we wanted. Both bride and groom staying the evening before, the ceremony, menu, music, dj, decor and extra vendors. Sharing their expertise and advice to help us make our day so special. Thank you both so much. Rachel was coordinating our wedding on the day and along with her team Rachel really made everything flow perfectly from preparing the rooms for our arrival, favours and table settings, dealing with arrival of cake, flowers, mua, hairdresser, photographer and more. We really were left to just enjoy every moment as all of the little things were taken care of. Also special mention and thank yous to Tim, Adam, Josh and Ethan you are all amazing at what you do! Location enabled us to get photos at the venue but also over in Sefton Park. Everything was PerfectEverything was Perfect
Me and my wife have just had our wedding here. All we can say is it was a perfect day, even the wet weather did not spoil it. The Hallmark staff were amazing, everything was how we asked for it to be and nothing was too much trouble. We used the Glass house for our wedding ceremony and the fountain suite for our Wedding Breakfast and evening reception. Both rooms were stunning. Not one guest had any complaints and everyone complimented us on the choice of venue and the staff. The food was incredible, the chefs really laid on a lovely meal for the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet was delicious. We stayed in the Bridal Suite, which had a large shower and a roll top bath, the room was huge, very clean and perfect for any newly wed couple. Jen was our wedding co-ordinator, we dont have enough kind words to say about Jen. Everything was perfect, she helped us so much and the day wouldnt have been the same without her. A perfect dayA perfect day
We had the most perfectly happy day, it couldn't have gone any better and we loved every minute. From the start of the planning process through to the day itself, everything was made easy for us and we and our guests felt very well looked after by all of the staff, and in particular by our lovely Co-ordinator, Jen Mahon. Her energy, enthusiasm and efficiency ensured that every detail was covered and we could relax safe in the knowledge that everything was taken care of and ran smoothly, while also making it fun and a pleasure throughout. The venue was ideal for us with the use of all the different rooms and the lovely Italian Gardens, and many guests have commented on how great it was. The food was really good and plentiful, and the staff were highly organised and took care of everyone very well. It was the special day we were hoping for and we could not have been happier. Thank you so much to all involved. We had the most perfectly happy day, it couldn't have gone any better and we loved every minute. What a fantastic venue , staff , food and Wedding day . From when we visited one of the Hallmark Wedding open days to our actual Wedding day was a wonderful journey. Made so much easier by Jen , our Wedding coordinator, and all the other staff. From the Italians Gardens for getting married in to the Glasshouse Restaurant to the rooms it is the Best venue to get Married in or simply visit . We cannot thank Hallmark , Jen and the Staff for helping us to plan our Wonderful day . Rooms , food and venue all great . Sefton Park opposite. Liverpool city centre just down the road. Dogs allowed . There is nothing negative to say . What a fantastic venue , staff , food and Wedding day . Jack and i had our Wedding at the Hallmark on 1st June 19 and what a day it was!!! Anyone thinking of booking their wedding at the Hallmark Sefton Park should not hesitate or think.twice, it was the best day of our lives thanks too all the staff and our amazing wedding planner Jen. Right from the beginning when we started looking for our perfect venue we visited the Hallmark Seftin Park as the park holds a special place in our hearts and it did not disappoint, they made it so personal and such a wonderful experience and made us feel like we were literally the first people two people to get married there! Their enthusiasm, excitement and outstanding attention to detail was fantastic and they listened to every idea and opinion we had and transformerd it into the most perfect day!!! Jen and the team were amazing, Fergus, Matt and all the staff! If your thinking of holding your wedding at the Hallmark....stop thinking and book it!!! Thank you all so much again! We got married at the Hallmark Hotel Liverpool South in April 2019 and we would highly recommend the venue for a wedding. Jen, Matt and the team were incredibly helpful both in the run-up to the wedding and on the day itself - even though a number of our requests were unusual, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them and the day ran exactly how we had hoped it would. The food was delicious and several of our guests praised both its quality and the variety available. There were so many little touches from the staff that made the day feel so special, from the name and date written in chocolate on our plates during the wedding breakfast to the petals arranged on the bed in our bridal suite. We can't thank nor praise you enough for the smooth running of our big day and all the organisation involved the run-up to it. In particular, we'd like to give a special thanks to Jen for her humour and warmth during the planning process and the morning of the wedding and Matt for keeping us sane on the day and making sure all of our requests were fulfilled, no matter how inane! A magical wedding A magical wedding
we had a “twighlight” wedding at this hotel. The staff helped plan the day so perfectly, the wedding flowed perfectly. The “glass room” where we had our ceremony was magical and intimate. The evening reception was then held in the large reception room the venue was perfect, the staff were helpful all our guests commented on how relaxed the wedding was and all our guests had so much fun it was such a lovely day. we had a “twighlight” wedding at this hotel. We got married here on 10th November 2018. When we started to look at venues earlier this year it was very important for us to find a venue that felt like home. Being a cautious female same sex couple we needed to feel comfortable so we could be open to just be us. Meeting 'Jecky' we knew we were in fabulous experienced hands. Made us feel welcome from the start and gave us breakfast on the house on our second meeting. Always coffee and a little fizz available if you wanted. The venue is a diamond in itself, beautiful and just a perfect space for everyone! I totally would recommend an autumn wedding. The photos are out of this world. As for the day, we stayed the night before and followed tradition by parting until we walked down the aisle. Becky made sure we were well catered for and that we didn't bump into each other. The staff attended to our every need with room service breakfast on the morning and Becky is no stranger to lacing up a dress! As the day went on we discovered the hotels personal touches, which were a complete surprise. They had us in mind with every decision made on the day and made sure we had time away from our guests. The day went so smoothly and it was a delight to have such a great team of staff who were there for everyone. We are going back to visit for Christmas as it is only right we celebrate it with our special place. We got married here on 10th November 2018. We had our big day on 3rd November 2018 at this wonderful venue. From the moment we attended our very first open day here, we have received nothing shy of 5 star treatment. Through each stage of our planning the whole team have been warm, welcoming and genuinely interested and excited about giving us the best day ever (which it really was!). The venue was beautiful when we first viewed and has since undergone a further stunning refurbishment- what a view from the glass house overlooking lovely Sefton park, ideal for some gorgeous photos! Becky, Jen, Bernard and the gang were always on hand for any questions we had and nothing was too much trouble, even helping us out with our flower arrangements that we just kept putting off! With a wealth of local suppliers in their phone book- you just need to ask the question and as if by magic it had been arranged! We had the our whole day here and hand on heart they have made this whole process a genuine pleasure with no stress at all! From ceremony to wedding breakfast to party time, the room looked exquisite and all of our guests have commented on what a brilliant, romantic and enjoyable day they had. I also had the pleasure of staying at the venue with my mum and sisters the evening before and we were treated like queens by Fergus and Bernard- so many canapés and much fizz was flowing! We were especially charmed by Benard who will have you in hysterics! We are counting down the days until we can come back for our 1st anniversary - it’s been an absolute knock out and wish we could do it every weekend! Thank you so much Hallmark Liverpool South! It is extremely hard to review the Hallmark Hotel Liverpool Sefton Park because how do you put into words how the people and this place can listen to your dream wedding scenario and not only meet your demands, but exceed them?! Well, this is what Fergus, Becky, Jen and the team at The Hallmark Hotel Liverpool Sefton Park can do. Hand on heart, these guys here go above and beyond to ensure your wedding day is even better than what you dreamed of! They are simply amazing! My wife and I woke up the morning after our wedding and both said that we wanted to do it all over again - easy now - I mean the whole wedding thing - get your minds out of the gutter!! lol! The surroundings of the hotel are magical, the hotel staff are all magical, and in turn these guys from Matt our Master of Ceremonies, the housekeeping team, bar and restaurant team, reception team and of course Fergus, Becky and Jen will make your wedding day exactly that - MAGICAL AND BESPOKE TO YOU! I have been to a few weddings over the years and none of the venues or the atmosphere can come close to that of the Hallmark Liverpool Sefton Park. Becky Langley (nee Taylor) has both personality and professionalism that we only witnessed at The Hallmark Liverpool Sefton Park. We looked at other venues (even though I wanted to book the Hallmark straight away!? However, the welcome we received from them was actually unworthy of the term "welcoming". We were met at other venues with apathy, arrogance and ambivalence! To sum up (because for someone who was struggling to find words, I haven't done too bad so far!). If you want your wedding day to be truly unique, exceptional, inimitable, unforgettable, remarkable and awe-inspiring - book at the Hallmark Hotel Liverpool Sefton Park. The Italian Gardens in Sefton Park are a great spot for photos. The lush greenery and beautifully manicured gardens offer a stunning backdrop for any special occasion and are sure to provide the perfect backdrop for all your special memories.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Ed Sheeran once came to a wedding here (before he was famous!).

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our mini hamburger sliders are always a hit! They are tasty and always a crowd pleaser.

Our favorite midnight treat is definitely a bacon roll! They’re so flavorful and delicious, and I can never seem to get enough of them. Plus, they’re so convenient to grab on the way out after a long night.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We are incredibly proud of the weddings we host at our hotel. Our team puts a lot of hard work and dedication into making each wedding special and unique.
