Sefton Park Palm House is a stunning Grade II* listed Victorian glasshouse located in the heart of Liverpool’s beautiful 235-acre Sefton Park. The venue partners exclusively with an award-winning caterer to offer menus that suit all tastes and budgets, ensuring your guests enjoy a delicious dining experience. Whether you want a string quartet, live band, or DJ, the team can introduce you to fantastic local suppliers who we have developed relationships with over the years. Conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Liverpool city centre and the M62, the venue is easy for your guests to reach.
You can place a £50 holding fee which will reserve a date for 14 days. If you decide to go ahead and book this £50 will be deducted from your final balance.
You will have exclusive use of the Palm House and grounds. We have uniformed security personnel who will look after your guests and greet them at the gate.
Yes you can host your ceremony and reception at the Palm House, ceremonies can start from 2pm with guests arriving 30 minutes prior.
You will need to arrange your ceremony in advance with the Liverpool Register office.

Payments for performance of the ceremony are separate to our venue hire fee and should be made to the Registrar.
When you receive your contract there will be a 20% non-refundable payment due.
6 months before your wedding, you will be invoiced for a further 30%.
Three months before the wedding the final 50% becomes due.
All this is set out in your contract and a reminder invoice will be sent out the month before any payment is due.
You will have a dedicated Palm House wedding co-ordinator for the entire day.
Your catering manager will work in conjunction with the Palm House Team to ensure your day runs smoothly.
We are able to assist with small tasks on the day such as placing name cards and favours on tables, and setting up the cake and guest book tables.
You may need a venue dresser if you wish to do anything more extensive.
Guests may arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony.
External suppliers are welcome as long as they have required insurance and provide a risk assessment.
The only exception to this is your caterer and additional lighting - you need to use the Palm House approved caterer and lighting company.
Your caterer will be here from 11am and any suppliers can arrive from that time by arrangement.
We have an alcohol and music license until 12 midnight.
Bar closes at 11.30pm.
Your guests can expect to be leaving around 12.20m.
You may have a band or DJ.
We do have a decibel limit of 85db and this must be agreed with your band.
All their equipment should be PAT tested and they will require any necessary insurances and risk assesments.
Sorry, we don’t permit the use of confetti in the house or the grounds. A photo can be taken outside the gates with The Palm House in the background.
Fireworks are not allowed.
