- Seated Dinner: A minimum of 60 guests and up to 220 guests. 60 minimum guest are for Fridays .
- Ceremony: Licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 220 guests

I'll never forget pulling up in the wedding car and seeing your kind faces waiting with umbrellas, a drink of water was immediately given to me and I know you'd been looking after my VERY nervous groom so well. Staff were friendly and very helpful in ensuring that our special day ran as smoothly as possible. Wonderful food which was well presented. Can I reserve a date?
You can place a £50 holding fee which will reserve a date for 14 days. If you decide to go ahead and book this £50 will be deducted from your final balance.
Will we have exclusive use of the Palm House and Grounds?
You will have exclusive use of the Palm House and grounds. We have uniformed security personnel who will look after your guests and greet them at the gate.
Can we host our ceremony at the Palm House and Who will arrange a registrar for the ceremony?
Yes you can host your ceremony and reception at the Palm House, ceremonies can start from 2pm with guests arriving 30 minutes prior.
You will need to arrange your ceremony in advance with the Liverpool Register office.
They may be reached by telephone on 0151 233 3004 or by email at registrar@liverpool.gov.uk.
Payments for performance of the ceremony are separate to our venue hire fee and should be made to the Registrar.
How is the hire fee paid?
When you receive your contract there will be a 20% non-refundable payment due.
6 months before your wedding, you will be invoiced for a further 30%.
Three months before the wedding the final 50% becomes due.
All this is set out in your contract and a reminder invoice will be sent out the month before any payment is due.
Who will manage my wedding day?
You will have a dedicated Palm House wedding co-ordinator for the entire day.
Your catering manager will work in conjunction with the Palm House Team to ensure your day runs smoothly.
Will the Palm House team dress the venue?
We are able to assist with small tasks on the day such as placing name cards and favours on tables, and setting up the cake and guest book tables.
You may need a venue dresser if you wish to do anything more extensive.
When can we gain access to the venue and can we bring in external suppliers ?
Guests may arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony.
External suppliers are welcome as long as they have required insurance and provide a risk assessment.
The only exception to this is your caterer and additional lighting - you need to use the Palm House approved caterer and lighting company.
Your caterer will be here from 11am and any suppliers can arrive from that time by arrangement.
What time is the license until?
We have an alcohol and music license until 12 midnight.
Bar closes at 11.30pm.
Your guests can expect to be leaving around 12.20m.
Can we have a band/DJ
You may have a band or DJ.
We do have a decibel limit of 85db and this must be agreed with your band.
All their equipment should be PAT tested and they will require any necessary insurances and risk assesments.
Can we use confetti and fireworks
Sorry, we don’t permit the use of confetti in the house or the grounds. A photo can be taken outside the gates with The Palm House in the background.
Fireworks are not allowed.
